The SE will forever be an iconic phone, 6 years down the line and it works fine with a few lags here and there (but thats probably due to iOS 15). I love using this phone and sometimes just to feel like im in 2016 again.😅

I'm not gunna lie, I don't see the issue with having the same design as the 5S. It was a great design, reasonable size (not obnoxiously big like the 6 plus) and had a good weight to it. It packs a bigger punch than the 5S, so what's the issue.

+OliverFrenchie i know right? i loved the flat edges, it felt safe and solid as well but then they copied designs from other phones and ruined it. I like everything about this phone, ppl have 40" HDTV and they still want to watch movies on their phones? thats stupid. Watching videos and playing games on phone might be great if you are still in high school but i prefer something that gets the job done without all the gimmick. a phone should be able to last a whole day on one single charge.

OliverFrenchie i never owned or planned to own a phone which has a 6 inch big screen. 8 Years back they were on a race to make mobile phones smaller and now they want to fit a flat TV and a DSLR inside a camera and the funniest part is 80% of them use it just as an accessory. This smartphone movement and the need to HAVE the latest one every freaking year is a race for mindless drones. I like this new SE and i will get one and be happy with that for years and i will have my PC to do all the other work for me. :) m happy with Apple now

hfikz Hi, I believe it's very subjective based on different users. I'll share with you my current battery stat:
Standby about 27hrs, Usage about 4.5hrs mostly messaging and some mail fetching. Battery is at 61%.
How good is that?

It's 4 times slower due to RAM and the outdated chip. Of course within 5 years the newest OS will slower your phone, technology moves fast. Simple solution? Keep the old OS. If you use a lot of apps, then yeah, after 4-5 years you'll be forced to upgrade.

I am so disappointed in the new iPhone SE 2020. I really wanted another design like the SE 1, with a 4 inch display and squared edges. The smaller design of the SE 1 was SO GOOD!! It's my favorite iPhone by far!

To those who are thinking of getting an Iphone SE, let me tell you you will not be disappointed. I just bought one and its awesome. It works really well, software is amazing... the built quality feels very premium. The battery life is very very good. If your not a major gamer, and you use the phone for business purposes, your phone can last you over a day. I used to own a mid-range phone... the ASUS Zenfone 6 with a 3300 mah battery and I can tell you for a fact that the Iphone SE battery lasts much longer. Its really all depends on how efficient the entire system is... and because the Iphone is very efficient, Apple doesn't need to stuff a large battery for the phone to last a day. I have seen some reviews wherein the Iphone SE battery lasts longer than the S7. The camera quality is great... both for front and back. Don't get confused by the over super detailed comparison between the photo quality of the Iphone SE to other other phones. In real life usage you wont even see any difference. The only thing I can see why this phone will discourage some people is because of the screen size. That's all.... everything else works so well. Games work smoothly... even the high graphic games work smoothly. Despite the screen being small, it really doesn't affect game play. Even typing is not difficulty. My old phone was 6 inches and I shifted to 4 inches and I don't regret one bit. The price of this phone is similar to the Samsung A-series... and believe me, the Iphone SE feels more premium and works more fluid. I used to only have Android Phones, and the Iphone SE is my first Iphone and I know realize how big the difference is between Iphone and the rest of the pack. :)

Jackie M Tysm to your review if this phone, I'm very attracted to this rose gold Se and my current phone display is 5.2mp so I am a bit worried about down sizing but the Se would be my very first iphone. my Alcatel Idol 4 is said to be Android's version of the iPhone 6 series but I'm still considering this Se because of its power and I'd like to use one hand instead of 2 to hold and use my phone, plus I love the design, another thing I'm worried about is that 1.2 ffc as opposed to my 8 ffc and 13 rear

Awesome me too. I bought my second one because the first is worn out with broken home button, screen, broken screen protector, damaged headphone jack, damaged mute switch, & lots of scratches + I like having 1 more 5W power brick for battery longevity (& to charge)
6 years later and the first gen SE is rocking IOS 15.5. Probably the last software update it’ll ever get. It’s so sad to see that we will probably never see another small iPhone.

I'm still using an SE 2016 and i love the fact its small since its one of the only phones that can fit in my pockets and since i have small hands its comfortable to hold and use. i had the 16GB for around 2 years (i brought it second hand, i cant afford better lol) but a few days ago it just didn't turn on and has completely died, i decided not to get it repaired because ive been struggling with having such little storage for a while. I needed a new phone and i decided to buy another SE 2016 because i did really like the phone (and it can be cheap) but with a lot more storage lol and that will be arriving in a few days. i hope its okay and doesn't randomly stop working like my other one

I just picked one up 64gb space grey. Timeless design and one hand usability. I was using an iPhone 6plus gold. It makes wonder why we got brain washed to use 5.5 inch displays. The se feels great in hand and if I want to consume media I'll grab the iPad Air 2.

@@alien5662 depends on your use( you can use like a small compact iphone with almost recent update iOS, means you can use almost all iOS apps but battery performance of ip 5S).
@@David-zf1xt I'm on my third battery and almost 6 years of use, second replacement I went for slightly higher capacity (1800 mAh) and did the replacement manually this time, roughly a bit over 2 years per battery.

Been using the iPhone Se 1st gen as my primary phone for the past 3 years and no complaints yet with the phone.
People fail to reconize that the SE is about $300 less. I also prefer not to carry a tablet in my jeans. Maybe some of you guys complaining wear purses though ;p

It’s wild how much the definition of what makes a phone “small” or “big” has changed since then. I’m typing this comment on a 3rd gen iPhone SE, which right now is one of the very smallest phones on the market, but it’s the same size as a standard iPhone 6s, which is referred to as a “big phone” multiple times in this video 😂
I've had mine for 4 years, I replaced the battery in February 2021 and a few months later the battery is bad again. I love this phone though. I was thinking of upgrading to the regular 13, but not sure I'll like it as much. This still has a head phone jack.

Hey guys! So here's some advice if you're getting the iPhone SE. I just got mine today, and I'm really surprised on how to battery lasts. It lasted the whole day and I'm in love. It has great camera quality and amazing grips, and the perfect size! For anyone who wants to know about what color to get, I'd get rose gold, silver, or gold. Those are some tips if you have, or are getting this phone. Hope it helped you guys!!

Just bought one of these in early 2020 over my Note 8 and iPhone X (that I bought at the same time as this phone). I’ve preferred it so far and am using it as my daily. I wish they’d update this design with more modern specs and a better display.

I've been using 6s for more than a year and now I've switched to SE. It is so comfortable and lightweight in hand like my old 5. I really don't need big screen, I prefer reaching all UI elements with my thumb. Hopefully, Apple will make smaller iPhone in the future again.

i was looking thru my old stuff and found my iphone 5. started using it and nostalgia max. i remembered how it first felt like to use it. loved it so much back then. but the greatest jump for me was not ip5 to 6+ but 3gs to 4. retina display was really something. we take it for granted now but man!
