Stockings was always good....usually some cool toys or a few things of fun and mirth......we do stockings first thing, and we tend to have lots of goodies, chocolates, unique stuff from Santa, group things like nerf 🔫 guns , 😅zany times. Than a break for quick breakfast snack, and putting Turkey 🍗 in oven, for a noon to early afternoon meal 😋
Why do we care where we rank. I love that they’re flying under the radar because teams won’t be ready for them and frankly getting the adulation from the media means nothing to me and shouldn’t mean zip to the rest of us. This franchise has been hated by the media since 1970 and it ain’t gonna change. As much as people talk about Packers wasting Love's rookie contract, having your rookie QB sit for a few seasons behind a veteran has seemed to have worked out twice. I would be OK keeping Darnold another year and letting JJ McCarthy sit another season.
It hasn't really worked out with Love yet. Last season was half horrible/ half good. This season has been right in the middle, but we had to give him a big contract otherwise he wasn't going to play. He pulled that stunt a couple days before training camp was going to begin and forced our hand.
I would be okay losing to the Lions if it meant beating the Packers. I’d prefer if we lose a game in this final stretch not to be a suspense killer at home against a hated rival. Though, if the Lions lost to a decimated and depressed 49ers team I’d also be okay with that as well.
