Luar biasa
It’s a shame you have to say “this isn’t fake rust.” A lot of videos are faked and it dilutes the ones that are authentic like this one
The surface looked badly pitted from all those years of rust.
Well done comrade! You're back.
You seem to hace had a double fire there. You need to wax the other chambers to prevent this.
You had a chain fire nice
I hundred percent agree, all chambers fired at the same time. Dangerous, but commun, especialy with poor made molded bullets... they lets the hot gazes passed through. Anyway i'm glad to not be the only one seen it ! ;)
For a bullet mold being 176 years old. It’s in pretty good shape.
No, no it's not.
Original Colt Walker bullet moulds have a different hinge, a mould for round and ogival bullets , and caliber .44. This mould looks more like caliber .36 and please learn about secure loading percussion revolvers to avoid double firing.
May I ask what you're using to remove the rust, also is that a.31 round Ball
Did that chain fire in the end? Lol
Yeah he was lucky he didn't load all 6 cylinders.
Totally did. Forgot to cap with Crisco
Its a video only clip (they didnt include the audio) from the channel Everything Black Powder. If you search "chain fire" it may be the first video that shows up like it did for me.
Jesus you had a tandem fire at the end. Way to fuck up your Dragoon. You should know to seal your cylinders with some grease or crisco
good
You did so good 😄😄
good job
Very cool.😊
first :) love your videos btw, you inspired me to restore a m18 smoke and upload it. thanks brother
i still have 12 more rusty ones to fix up, any tips on paint matching the od green? i want to keep it accurate
Should have greased your cylinders. Then you would have had a double fire. Nice work on the mold though.
At the end of the video, double shot. It is dangerous. ☝
This is tin
wow! what a piece of junk! i have been a boolit caster many decades. and that mold is long gone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Did you f*ck up loading that pistol? That looked like it almost exploded.
@@lecapitaineenglehorn5365 That cleared it up. 😂
ok
While I applaud you for trying to refurbish that old mold, it will never be able to be used for anything requiring accuracy or precision. If you were able to clean the bullet molds so they produced clean smooth bullets, their sizes would be too large for the pistol than. But nice try anyways. Thumbs Up!
