It’s a shame you have to say “this isn’t fake rust.” A lot of videos are faked and it dilutes the ones that are authentic like this one

The surface looked badly pitted from all those years of rust.

You seem to hace had a double fire there. You need to wax the other chambers to prevent this.

You had a chain fire nice

I hundred percent agree, all chambers fired at the same time. Dangerous, but commun, especialy with poor made molded bullets... they lets the hot gazes passed through. Anyway i'm glad to not be the only one seen it ! ;)

Original Colt Walker bullet moulds have a different hinge, a mould for round and ogival bullets , and caliber .44. This mould looks more like caliber .36 and please learn about secure loading percussion revolvers to avoid double firing.

Its a video only clip (they didnt include the audio) from the channel Everything Black Powder. If you search "chain fire" it may be the first video that shows up like it did for me.

Jesus you had a tandem fire at the end. Way to fuck up your Dragoon. You should know to seal your cylinders with some grease or crisco

départ en chaîne pendant le tir met de la graisse a la fin après avoir mis la balle ça évite les départ en chaîne

  • @DeadInsideButStillSmiling

Should have greased your cylinders. Then you would have had a double fire. Nice work on the mold though.

At the end of the video, double shot. It is dangerous. ☝

    • @lecapitaineenglehorn5365

While I applaud you for trying to refurbish that old mold, it will never be able to be used for anything requiring accuracy or precision. If you were able to clean the bullet molds so they produced clean smooth bullets, their sizes would be too large for the pistol than. But nice try anyways. Thumbs Up!
