I bought mine in 2019 for the sole purpose of being my carryon and travel bag while overseas. I simply love it! Love how secure it is while traveling. It’s a timeless bag and believe I will continue wearing it for many years happily.
The eastlisa canvas tote bag actually reminds me of Hermes Garden Party, too. Thanks for making this video on suggesting more budget friendly alternatives. Love it!
Probably the best Prada bag investment as far as longevity. I have all mine since the 90s and can still wear them. They actually look cool a little worn.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in LYXBAGS other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals..
thanks for the review. I just saw this backpack in the store and was thinking of upgrading from my Lululemon backpack. I had a Prada nylon bag for 15 years and the nylon and leather held up so well (knock on wood). the Prada backpack has gotten so expensive now so I got a Lululemon backpack. according to your video, the lululemon backpack is much more functional. it has deep pocket in the front for cell phone. and it's all zipper closure and it has a big buckle closure for security. the only CON is that the nylon got scratched within 9 months and so did the hardware. that's why I went to the Prada store to see if the Prada one can do better. but I definitely want a functional backpack (already have many pretty and not functional bags already). I don't know why luxury stuff is less functional than popular brands.
Hello there! I will have to check out the Lululemon backpack in the future. I find it so odd too why luxury goods can sometimes be less functional. I think some luxury items are more “statement” pieces than anything else. 🤣😂 Another viewer did mention to me that the newer Prada Nylon is in the “renylon” material, so maybe the quality is not as good as the older ones? I have never seen the renylon in person so I’m not sure of the quality level.
@@mikokitton you can make a statement piece with anything. for luxury items, we are making a brand-specific statement that's has some prestige and culture associated to it. In reality, the most 'functional' backpacks are just regular school backpacks. I found Lipault's backpack elegant and functional. they are like Longchamp on a backpack.
@@mikokitton I bought a Prada cardholder a couple months ago. I recently discovered that one of the three nails on the Prada Logo plaque is slightly shifted when compared to my other Prada bag. So I went to the store to discuss that just on Monday. I can't believe that the only 'statement' feature on the cardholder is not made to the luxury level. So I am disappointed in my second Prada purchase. hope they will fix it under the manufacturer's warranty.
I use the HIDUPZ as a work bag and have had no issues. It's a comfortable bag, has lots of room, and doesn't lose its shape. That being said, I also take care of all my bags and don't carry water bottles, pens, keys, or anything that could damage the interior.
@scottsummers2935 the magnetic option is great for sure! but living in ny, I definitely appreciate the security of the other option. Ideally I’d prefer that too but alas 😂
Thanks for the review! How comfortable are the shoulder straps when your bag gets heavy? I really like the size of it but the one thing that really bothers me and is stopping me from getting it is the nylon shoulder straps. Somehow I feel like unless they are padded, such straps would dig into my shoulders and flesh.
The straps are actually really comfy! I think it’s because the backpack is so small that you can’t really fit too many heavy items in it for it to dig in.
Thank you for this review! I have not found many reviews on this backpack in the small size. I just got mine from Fashionphile. I know you said the buckles are hard to get in and out of but are the leather straps hard to pull in and out of the buckles? The one I got is super stiff and passing the leather strap in is not easy.
I bought this because I was looking for a functional luxury backpack I can use when I’m out with the kids. However, I end up not using it because of how hard it is to access things. The straps also dig in!
I agree with you 💯. The bag is so beautiful but so hard to use. 🥲 But I still do love this bag very much! Have you found other luxury backpack alternatives? I’d love to know as I’m still hunting for one that works well and looks good.
@@kauigirl808 Agreed, 2k is a lot for this. But I view it as one of their classic pieces that will be in style for as long as their brand is “in.” I see them go for much lower on resale sites. Might be worth a look. 😊
That is most likely as I don’t think my bag was made using the renylon material. The price point is so high nowadays. Hopefully the new material’s quality is just as good or better.

the LYXBAG would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal out fit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!

Thanks for sharing! I like the tone when you are talking. This video really helps as I'm interested in this backpack and searching for reviews.
Thank you! I’m glad my video helps! 🥰
Lol the fact that it’s hard to get in is why I like it & im getting it for travel/school in the new medium 😍

It is the Small size 💕
2k for a nylon bag 😢
Yes, 🥲 for the price point, the quality is there but it’s definitely more about the brand.

The new Prada backpacks have zippers, but they are $2000+.
