This is a very good example for India. Your country can look very old and people and stuff everywhere without being nasty. I love the way this old part of China looks, it’s old and a little run down , but it’s clean! If India was clean and people wouldn’t relieve themselves in public it’d be much nicer.

China is such a fascinating country with such rich history and culture. I love videos like this because we see history in motion. As countries continue to advance and develop we often leave behind certain customs and traditions for the sake of modernity, but here we see a sort of gritty reality; the life of the common person as it is and always has been. There is pride to be had here as I see people - ordinary people - living their day to day lives. It's not glamorous, it's not fancy, but it is what the regular everyday person can relate to.

China is massive, and every region has its own culture and dialects. People from different areas even look and sound different, and their customs vary so much that sometimes it feels like they’re from different countries. Mandarin is the one language everyone can use to communicate, but even then, jokes and humor don’t always land the same way - a Northerner’s joke might go over a Southerner’s head. Living in Shenzhen, I get to experience this mix every day; people from all over the country are here, making it one of the most interesting places to be.

You can see the history in every wall and cobble stone. It is beautiful to watch living history and the people are so calm and pleasant...I want to go to China and experience this myself and as an artist do watercolors of these old rustic twisting streets.
These kinds of videos are what make RUclips a great medium....Also, great choice to not talk and put music in the videos!...Please, post more and more of these videos of the little villages throughout China, just walking, no talking and music. I love China, and the video looks exactly like old towns and its old alleys in Seoul or many other big cities in Korea. But, frankly, people should not live in places like that. What if a big fire is ignited by lightnings or electrical short, etc.? Can fire trucks or ambulances enter this place to put it out? Are there any hydrants that can be connected to fire hoses? Can people safely evacuate out in time not be burnt or be crushed by people to death during evacuation? Living in a place like that is just like playing a game of Russian roulette every day by solely relying on your own luck.

And due to government policies, when their houses are demolished and new houses are not built, the government will pay them an additional amount of money every year as rent. So in China, if your house is to be demolished, it means you are going to become wealthy.
