China is such a fascinating country with such rich history and culture. I love videos like this because we see history in motion. As countries continue to advance and develop we often leave behind certain customs and traditions for the sake of modernity, but here we see a sort of gritty reality; the life of the common person as it is and always has been. China is massive, and every region has its own culture and dialects. People from different areas even look and sound different, and their customs vary so much that sometimes it feels like they’re from different countries. Mandarin is the one language everyone can use to communicate, but even then, jokes and humor don’t always land the same way - a Northerner’s joke might go over a Southerner’s head. Thanks for posting.

I see a lot of European cars, especially from Germany and some from France.
As an introvert, this video makes me anxious, it's so dense.
Too many people crammed into the space. I can't live there.
@@ranjittyagi9354asian countries are crowded but since the asians are extremely polite and careful to not run into people walking there doesn't feel nearly as uncomfortable as in western metropoles.
China has 1.4 billion people, most of whom live in cities, so overcrowding is inevitable
Brazilian here.
I love simple towns like this with simple peaceful people living their lives. The roads are narrow but clean and the place look safe. Are these people speaking Cantonese? Anyways, well done China! Could someone pls send a clone of President Xi to Brazil to eliminate the corruption there? Brazil sucks.

They seem very polite and respectful. I like what I see although it is living with basic necessities.
"Dark" "shabby" "noisy" - call it whatever you want, but I loved it.
Me recuerda a mi infancia en.china, en los años 90, me gusta mucho pueblos asi, Ahora solo queda rascacielos en mi ciudad natal😢
Stunning clarity. What camera you use?

The first 1 minuto looked like a Brazilian Favela but the way better than a favela very beautiful village
You have my full support. I love what you offer on this channel!
full support for what? walking around taking a video? guess that requires support under communism
That crazy wiring overhead would make me very nervous about an electrical fire.
it probably looks like that in your town
just out of sight
@@hindugoat2302 In Canada we have strict regulations and safety checks frequently.
@@modtomodern Yes in Canada the fire alarm always beep when I cook chinese 😭
@@modtomodernu have all the fancy things and strict regulations doesn't mean u have less fire. It's like Canada is a wealthy country doesn't mean it has a lower crime rate and safer place than China lol. PS u should visit Thailand see how much exposed wires they have on the side of the streets, it will blow your mind but they never catch on fire.
Most of the wires in China are thick wires, while most of the wires shown in the video are thin. These are mostly fiber optic cables, because there were no fiber optic plans in old residential areas at that time, so there were so many thin wires pulled horizontally.
Dreamlike. I have had this dream set in cities all over the world.
