George Cavender Honored by Michigan Marching Band - November 18, 1978

Here is a video from the "Michigan Replay" show of November 26, 1978, capturing the band's "surprise" honor of George Cavender at the end of the Purdue game on November 18. The Purdue game was Cavender's last home game as director of the MMB.

He taught us all so much more than music. I fondly recall him helping me when I was down on my luck, more than once. His words of encouragement and wisdom help me to this day. He is sorely missed. YUBA and GO BLUE!
