Thanks for the detailed and great tutorial! However, I believe that the total stitch in round 2 is 16 stitches instead of 18 :)

Question: how did you get a 9th stitch from round 1 when you only did ch1 and 8sc. Shouldn’t this mean that in the increase you’d only get 16 stitches and not 18? Also, it’s confusing that in R3 after doing sc you only get 16 stitches. Your previous round had 18 stitches. How can you suddenly have 16 stitches from round 3-5?

i mistyped the no of stitches of round 2. It’s 16.

im new to crocheting so im very confused. is milk cotton yarn and cotton the same? the yarn in this video isnt available in my country so what yarn should i use

@@rubashoaib9522 sadly milk cotton yarn is made of 100% polyester despite of its name, so they’re different. Find any yarn with more than 60% cotton and has a thickness of 1.6mm and you’re ready to go ☺️

agreed i started crocheting around february and it took me awhile to get it down. I started by crocheting a singular square (not a granny square) to try out new stitches as well as figure out the best way to hold yarn for me is and the tension. It takes awhile but im still enjoying the process.
