It is totally a great experience. When I first attended a Saudi wedding, I was blown away. The males have more fun actually. The men dance a lot. And they can film there but for females they even tell you from entrance not to film.
So how it goes is that, when you get to the female section, you unveil your abaya and freestyle and dance and socialise while the bride comes in in all her glory. They always look magnificent. Then they will announce the groom coming to meet her for exchange of vows, cutting of cake and pictures.When they invite the groom, they will tell all females to wear back their abaya and they turn off the light in the crowd except the light of the pedestal the groom walks on. (It looks like a movie!)
When the groom is done with the business with his wife, he goes out and the females go back to lights, unveiling of abaya, dancing and merrying.😂
Awww, shame you didn’t stay till the end. They will bring rice and a whole roasted goat on the tray, you sit on the floor and you will all eat with hands to stupor.😂

It is also said that the French learnt about the culture of perfumes from the Arabs and then took the knowledge of perfumery they had gained from Arabs to the France.
@@kasikwagoma6740saw them at some point passing around something that looked like a burning incense. It smelled really nice. I dunno about the perfume and the link with France.
@@dynaekwuemeThey like it so much in every of their home, it's not only for their wedding ceremony, just the smell, and they can't do without heavy smell of perfume.
Men doesn't attend female wedding except the father of the bridegroom, and the groom will dance in at some point. That's why some people who live over there got them wrong if they didn't put on perfume, they will say that the person is smelling. They too can't go out without heavy perfume.

You're right. The men usually have fun during weddings in Saudi Arabia. I have witnessed like two weddings and enjoyed their camel meat and rice served in a big tray while sitting on the floor. They also serve snacks, sweets, dates and fruits. It's capped with their dance styles. Enjoy yourself and stay safe.

Female and male celebrates in separate halls and there are local dishes from to eat in the end for men and for women although men dine early and women might be late and it depends on the pride walk that you saw. The big meal is in separate section so if you have another chance to attend you should look out for the dining area you will be pleased ❤🎉

That store is like our John Lewis, Debenhams departmental store where you can get almost everything. It made sense you couldn't get your shade simply because they are more light skinned than you. Do you realise that even up till now there are some churches in Nija where men sit separate and women it separate🤔. Your hubby obviously must have enjoyed it more since his work colleagues were there. All in all it looked like a great experience.

Please can I get a job in Saudi Arabia as an English teacher? I’ve never been outside Nigeria and I’m just wondering if they will employ someone with my kind of qualifications in Nigeria to teach English.
