    Colossians 1
16 because in him were the ALL things created, those in the heavens, and those upon the earth, those visible, and those invisible, whether thrones, whether lordships, whether principalities, whether authorities; ALL things through him, and FOR HIM , have been created,
17 and himself is before ALL, and the ALL things in him have consisted.
18 And himself is the head of the body -- the assembly -- who is a beginning, a first-born out of the dead, that he might become in ALL [things] -- himself -- first,
19 because in him it did please ALL the fulness to Dwell
20 AND THROUGH HIM TO RECONCILE ALL THINGS TO HIMSELF -- HAVING MADE PEACE THROUGH THE BLOOD OF THE CROSS, whether the things upon the earth, whether the things in the heavens.

I'm a litle bit confused. So then, is there a promise for us as gentils to pray and God will listen?

    The world is the nations...
    2 Corinthians 5:19
    King James Version
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Not imputing "their" trespasses... This is not talking about the "earth". Its clearly talking about God not imputing trespasses to people...

Genesis 9:3 might even promote cannibalism if ALL is all.

Re: starting over and placing aside the "failed creation" on the trash heap: Couldn't u say God's creating "flesh" ( Mankind) was a form of starting over? Especially after "Those angelic beings left their 1st estate?"

Reconciliation is to be made friendly again with God. A question is: since God has reconciled all things to God, does that mean they stay reconciled? I think not. Judas was called "friend" when he turned Jesus over to the Roman's. He even repented before he killed himself. But it was not unto salvation. The criteria to stay reconciled is to enter into justification. Having faith does not mean that one attains to faith which works by love--saving faith. God has made atonement for all, but all do not receive it--Rom. 5:11. Self will (wilfullness or willing ignorance) is what make those reconciled as being once again fallen away from God.

"...sense God has reconciled all things to God..."
      Not HAS RECONCILED.
      IS RECONCILING.
      Ephesians 1:9-10
God is reconciling both heaven and earth back to Himself through Christ. No everyone and everything that ever existed, but heaven and earth.

@ralphowen3367 maybe. Where do you find "reconciled?"
Acts 3:19 when the TIMES of refreshing (the 1000 year reign, the millennium) SHALL COME at the presence of the Lord (when the Lord returns, that's when Isreal gets their sins remitted). 21) whom the heavens must receive until the TIMES OF RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS...
Christ reigns until all His enemies are put under His feet. The last enemy to be put under His feet is death. That doesn't happen until after the millennium is over.

@@bugsocsollie1694 Yes correct, there's ONLY a finite number of glorified saints eventually living forever on a totally new (SINLESS!) earth with new (SINLESS!) heavens above and Jesus Christ in the MIDST of them all, AFTER the great white throne judgement of men (Revelation 20). Idk how this is so hard to understand?
Eph 1:9-10: "Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That *in the dispensation of the fulness of times* he might gather together in one *all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even IN HIM:"* (= ALL THE SAINTS of all ages glorified)
