    Man, the taillights really did the rear a service. I was unaware of the differences in lighting and design between the two models, and what most screams vibrance to me in speaking about the AP2 style lights is the large splash of orange in the center, and heavy contrast between the light and dark areas of the light. As mentioned, the lens cut further aids in its appearance. This is a worthy mod!

    Damn guys- every little upgrade I watch it makes me think of what I could do

    I didn't even test the lights, based off of your (and every other) video or review since these basically came out, I just cut and swapped the indicator bulb's polarity. And lo and behold the lights worked straight away.

    Looks sooo much better! My 01 s2000 just yesterday started getting moisture inside, perfect timing that I ordered these same lights a few weeks ago.

    you can add a self tapping screw under the tail light and it'll pull the bumper up to eliminate some gap between the side of the bumper and quarter panel

    Ive had mine now for a while. And it seems that the switched polarity has been a thing since the very first batch. The first Batch I bought was ok. The reflex around the signal light popped out and they can be a little damp sometimes. Im on my second pair now and been running for 3 years no major issues. AND ! they look a lot better than ap1`s
    Btw, pro tip. When changing bulb or turn signals, turn the wheels so you can open the splash shield and then you can clip it out in the back. The front fenders are pretty thin in the metal so making a dent is easy. Seems like you made it without any trouble thought :)

    I must be the only person who likes the AP1 tails more. I can’t put a finger on why. They just look better to me for some reason.

    Couldn't you have unplugged the led bulb, turned it over and plugged it back in to switch the polarity? I remember that's how it worked when I did the Revlimiter led upgrade for my dash lights in my NA.
    That S2k is proper.👌

      Maybe but I think you have to disassemble the light and reseal it

      The ND2 is a great car but I don't think I'd ever replace my S2000 for one. You can settle the S2000s nervousness down with Megan toe links, Ballade rear extended balljoints and softer rear sway bar from a later AP2

    Hi, can you install the rear lights from a Honda S2000 AP2 on an AP1? What do you need?
    I have a Honda S2000 AP1 and I want to put the rear lights from an AP2 on it but the original ones. Can I do that?

    • @TheSlipAngle
      @TheSlipAngle  Месяц назад

      The AP1 has to be modified to accept the OEM AP2 tail lights. That is why we carry these conversion lights so the upgrade is plug and play. We have 2 sets left in stock if you want to grab one on slipanglemedia.com
