One of my favs too. Awesome band. Never could understand why they didn’t blow up in the US. I always thought it would happen when a US country legend covered one of their tunes. “It hasn’t happened yet” and “Bad Timing” would be ironically appropriate. :)
Ontario’s greatest contribution to the international music scene has always been solo acts more so than bands - Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Anka, Shania Twain, Drake… but for bands I think Blue Rodeo must sit alongside the Hip near the top, but certainly behind The Band and Rush who both crushed it internationally.

I re-visit this performance on the regular. It's so so good. The giant palm slide on the organ, Gregg's leg kick in the bridge section, that vintage Gibson mandolin, Baz playing through a monster bass amp, Glenn with the build up going into Gregg's leg kick and Kim's sliding - it's all there AND probably one of my all time favorite songs ever.
