@@1decee To be fair, there's nothing wrong with that - professional musicians do that all the time and the whole band were doing backing vocals, so all may have been referring to the lyrics on the screen. A highly professional and well oiled group of musicians in my opinion.

Agneta Fältskog has a vocal range of three octave, one semitone( D3 - E♭6 ) . And this song is very hard on a singers voice. This video shows that Melissa Mc Caig is one of the few singers who can sing this song. I would like to hear her sing " Dancing Queen" ! Well done!
I'm not too proud to say this song makes a grown man shed a tear. I thought y'all had outdone yourselves with "Reelin in the Years"... but OOOF!!! She is one of the finest pop vocalists I have heard in quite a while. Fabulous tone, impeccable phrasing, solid pitch accuracy, and very musical ...no matter the genre. So refreshing compared to all the chart-topping "screamers" who are lauded by the masses. Always love hearing her offerings. Kudos, Mel.

Melissa has done a fabulous rendition of this ABBA classic, one of the best versions I've ever heard. The only thing missing, at least for me, is the pain that was in Agnetha's voice while singing about breaking up with her husband. That painful emotion is difficult to replicate. . .

Excellent… absolutely excellent!! So much greatness has come out of Darren’s basement 😂… it’s really phenomenal. Speaking of phenomenal… Melissa… wow!! It’s one thing to sound good, but it’s totally another to know how to sound great. Watching Melissa… specifically her mouth… is a masterclass in singing technique. She’s relaxed, her vowels are rounded, she knows where and how to breath, she opens her mouth by lowering her jaw before widening at the sides, the way she holds and uses her microphone… everything is on purpose and for a specific reason. Very well done both sonically and visually. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Love listening to Melissa sing. What a wonderful vocalist.
Very bold attempt for Melissa to tackle Agnetha's tour de force signature piece. I am glad she performed it well in her own manner and SingitLive did not choose to just mimic the origin. I would say this is an accomplished and enjoyable cover of a great tune. Not easy to achieve.

I was young, I don't know, maybe 14 when this song came out. But through the stupefaction and innocence of that age, I still knew that this song meant the end of ABBA. At 57 I can say there's nothing wrong with taking the fall.
