So after a while of leaving this all caps information of how there have been cases of data corruption after buying the dlc, I learned that it was fixed according to some individuals. Also for context as to why I left the original comment was because there were only a couple hundred cases of data corruption a couple months ago. I apologise for not researching if anything changed! I'm glad people haven't lost there data!
To be honest, it's the first time since Black&White that I feel that Pokemon is stuck in a past era. And even though I enjoyed Scarlet when it came out, I don't feel comfortable exploring Paldea after playing Tears of The Kingdom. Please Game Freak, make a come-back with something at least as decent as Legends Arceus.
