    i dont do crochet and idk why this video is on my feed, but as a cross-stitcher i heard french knot and immediately remembered the pain of so many french knots not coming out because i wrapped the needle the wrong way lmao

    How do you do an increase stitch after you make a magic circle? Please I’m a beginner at crochet 🧶

    • @ClubCrochet
      @ClubCrochet  11 месяцев назад +1

      An increase stitch is just 2 single crochets in the same place. You can find my video tutorial on my channel, search for “Increase Stitch Club Crochet” to find it (for some reason links won’t work here 😕).
      Let me know if that helps! I can also help on my next livestream on Friday at 1pm PST! Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out!

    I love french nots, but i kinda dont get it. Wont the not just fall aut when you pull it a bit? Is there a better way to sew it on without worrying about it falling aut??

    • @ClubCrochet
      @ClubCrochet  10 месяцев назад +1

      As long as you pull it tightly it should stay on pretty tightly. If you're really worried about it make the french knot before sewing closed so that the knot is super tight, but I rarely have any problems using the method in this video.

  • @TwistedEmily

    And it just keeps pulling right through and not staying knotted

  • @novedekne
    @novedekne 11 месяцев назад

    I’ve tried this so many times, and it keeps undoing itself. Following the video exactly but once I pull the yarn through, the knot untwists.

    • @ClubCrochet
      @ClubCrochet  11 месяцев назад

      it could be that you need to hold the yarn up and away to create the knot? You can see me doing that at around 00:30. Hope that helps! I can help out in the next livestream too if you’re around!

    • @novedekne
      @novedekne 11 месяцев назад

      I figured it out. It was because of my yarn orientation. You have to make sure that the yarn is in front of the needle when wrapping around otherwise it forms more of a loosely packed bundle that can untwist rather than a secure knot. I appreciate the reply though. It pointed me in the right direction.
