Budapest Foldalatti Metro (M1)

This is one of the oldest subway lines in the world, built during the last decade of the 19th century. It is called the "Millennium Line" because Hungary was founded in A.D. 895. The experience of riding this is like no other. Note how small the stations are (they also are directly beneath the surface). The trains look like mining equipment and give a bumpy yet fun ride. I rode this on the way to the Szechenyi baths in the eastern part of the city.
