Mark has been a friend and an idol of mine since the summer of 1984 when I was just a simple beginner with a mouth full of wire braces and my Dad directed summer arts at Palm Beach Gardens High and Mark (then known as Lil' Man) and I worked in the pit band for Bye Bye Birdie and Mark had already long developed those "walin' chops"...I thought everybody played that way LOL...little did I know...when Mark would "do his thing" crowds would go absolutely wild and I used to think "Hey, maybe there is something to playing this thing..." Whenever he was playing with a band, I would attend the concert (sometimes in secret like Salieri lol) just to hear Mark do his magic, I still have some tapes I snuck in to record so later I could listen to for inspiration as a teen... I can tell you he has ALWAYS been one of the kindest, giving, caring and completely void of ego artists I've ever know.

Great stuff Jose, thank you ! Mark was a huge help to me, getting through what he refers to as the "Embouchure Fatigue Syndrome" aka "Embouchure Overuse". Also, naming our anxieties, problems et. al., and treating our minds and bodies as one to function holistically. Realyl enjoyed this.
