He's reinducted and finds information about what and his father in some archives and leaves Egypt to hunt him down. Shay could either be and old man or just dead already and Arno has the find a way to let go of revenge. I've heard Connor would be a good addition too but all just opinions here. There could have been two different endings one where you kill shay see his confession or memory and then see how arno feels after and see how the brotherhood grows or allow shay to live convince him to create a truce or pact between templar and assassin and see how the build London as a combined force, then have a character like Crawford feel that they cant work with the assassins anymore and break the pact and cause the templars and assassins to fight again, that can be a spin off game where you choose a side, templar or assassin

  • @WackySwackyAdventure

    Ubisoft clearly meant for Arno to get his own trilogy in the same vein that Ezio did. This is why Unity was set at the at the start of the French Revolution (1789 - 1794), instead of at the arguably more interesting time period of the Napoleonic Wars (1800 - 1815). The sequel would have definitely been set during the wars and it would have probably have delved further into Arno's relationship with Napoleon. At some point in the sequel Arno would have also rejoined the Brotherhood and possibility reorganized it/became it's leader. Leon would be Arno's apprentice at this point and his relationship with Arno would have been further developed. It's possible Shay would have made a reappearance in the story around this point (in 1800 Shay would have been 69, which is still young enough to for him to still be active with the Templars). Through the events of the story Arno and Shay would end up getting into conflict with one another, ending with Arno killing Shay in a sort of climatic battle.
    The third game would have had Napoleon probably be the main villain, and it would be set both at the end and after the Napoleonic Wars (1815 - 1821). The game would probably end with Arno foiling Napoleon's second rise to power (a fiction invented for the Assassin's Creed timeline) and finally assassinating Napoleon on Saint Helena in 1821. Perhaps Leon would play some kind of role in this as well, be he an ally or enemy at this point. This game would conclude Arno's story definitively in the same manner that Revelations concluded Ezio's story. Unfortunately, at the time of it's release, Unity was a complete buggy mess, and this kind of ruined it's reputation with the Assassin's Creed fandom. In my opinion, AC Unity is actually a fairly decent game, not the greatest, but definitely good enough. Most of the bugs have been dealt with so the original criticisms of the game don't really hold up today. Sadly, Unity does feel like the first chapter in a trilogy that we will never get. I for one would have much preferred a AC Unity 2 over AC syndicate any day of the week.

    They need to make a sequel that concludes arno, Connor, and shay story. I like the idea were arno hunts down shay. I would also love the idea were Connor teams up with arno in liberating London from Shay's hands. Connor can meet up with arno with a. Incident where Connor looks into the files and history of the homestead finding a rouge assassin who betrayed the brotherhood years ago. He swore to find shay, so he tells his assassin recruits, stephan, and Aveline to spread out and find information about shay Cormac. Aveline returns to Connor saying shay is the grandmaster Templar of the England. Connor sets sail to England to track down the infamous killer.
    Connor arrives in England and goes to the kenway mansion because it's the main base of operations. There he met the grandmaster of the British brotherhood and the master assassin Arno Dorian. Arno Dorian discovers that he and Connor have the same target they are hunting down. Together they strengthen the assassins stronghold along England. In this game it's like syndicate where you get to switch between 2 assassins which is arno and Connor. .
    I also want to bring back civilian recruit system. In this game arno would be like ezio in brotherhood. He is more matured, more skilled and experienced.
    Fast forward to it. And here we are at the last sequence where arno and Connor fight shay with him using the shroud of Eden. Shay is not in favor of using this artifacts but let's just say he wasn't the shay we knew in rouge. Shay in this time was already corrupted, and hungry for power since he was indoctrinated too much by haytham and the templars. I like your idea were Leon' helps and gets the shroud of Eden from shay. This gives opportunity for arno and Connor to deliver the finishing blow with both of their hidden blades stabbing shay to the ground. Shay talks to arno and Connor explaining to them all he wanted was order and purpose.. he also said the assassins were wrong. Arno tells him that he is trapped in his own vendetta in saving the world from this artifacts, and Connor tells him that he has become corrupted and that the templars merely wanted order and purpose for their own personal gain and not for the benefit of humanity. Shay dies and arno and Connor leave the temple.
    Lastly after credits scene we get to see a scene were and older version of arno and Leon' in his 20s talking to young Ethan Frye the father of the Frye twins. And the game ends there.

    Sorry to most, I find arno and connor and altair deeper and better than ezio and edward. Ezio is pretty good with his one liners and stuff, but i didnt like his way of approaching things. An outright womanizer and a character, which would probably fit the bills for an alpha male in cinemas, but not Realistic.
    For connor, everybody blames him to be whining for Charles lee, but lets imagine what both ezio and connor had gone through in their childhood. Connor was not even an adolescent, Ezio was almost 21(?), and then if we try being in their boots, we will realize connor is way more realistic than ezio.
    For Arno, he was another of those possessive personalities in mad love with Elise. Elise, had her goals prioritized ahead of Arno and if we see throughout the story, Arno's motive was redemption and protecting Elise. Elise however put revenge above everything else, and in her lust for revenge, lost her life. Arno was from the very beginning fighting for a lost cause, a tragic hero, we can suppose. Pretty realistic than the one liners of ezio.
    Altair in himself has been the man, the purpose of this whole AC franchise. The serious and yet selfless nature of Altair is praiseworthy and to me, he is still the best character ahead of arno and connor.
    This is my viewpoint, others might oppose. Ezios way of delivering things didnt go well with me, i would personally even rate edward kenway ahead of him. Edward was pretty well organised as a character, but somewhere it seemed out of connect with the Assassins stuff. More pirate than assassin. Edward would be best rated independently as an AC character than an Assassin, in which case, he would sit pretty much at the top of the ladder

      +Flame's of Chaos The 2 best villains ever created by Ubisoft were Vaas in FC 3 and Haytham in AC3. Never seen antagonists of that caliber since then! Although Haytham is an antagonist, his realism is somehow extraordinary, and relevant even today! Especially his rooftop speech!

      The French Revolution did not at all go into the 1830s... there were *other* French Revolutions after the big one of course, but the French Revolution that Unity takes place in ended 1799. Then the Napoleonic Wars took place which may have been Revolutionary France but was certainly not France in the midst of the Revolution. Afterwards there were a couple Revolutions in the 1830s, (30 and 32) but they weren't the same.

    Can't believe I've waited this long to see/hear this idea. Because it's so good! Far better than what I could've come up with for Arno. This would also be the ideal moment for London to appear in the series, being that the city was one of the most populous places around 1800. I also like the older brother partnership between Arno and Leon, which seems similar to the Connor and Haytham parts in AC3. And to have Shay as the antagonist is the cherry on top.

    I'd rather have a sequel with Arno focusing on Napoleon and his rise to power. It's canon that Arno worked for him even after Dead Kings. And famously, Napoleon led a military campaign in Egypt. When Origins was announced I had this idea that you could switch between two times periods : one with Bayek in Ancient Egypt and another with Arno working for / against Napoleon in 19th century Egypt. That would have been awesome

    Arno needed a second game. I've been playing Unity again and dude... its a solid game. The parkour system is the most controllable and filled with so many detailed animations. The stealth mechanics with crouch and cover we're good additions to AC, made AC Unity feel like an actual stealth game. CO-OP is such a good idea for AC, but was buggy on day 1, and limited to only missions, having it on the open world too would have been great.
    AC Unity had great additions to the franchise, but Ubisoft fucked up on release. I would love it if Ubisoft looked back on Unity and gave all those features a second chance.

    18th century Paris was the perfect setting, but as much as I love Unity, I would rather revisit Paris in the second half of the 19th century, during the Second Empire (Napoleon the III’s reign). I honestly would have preferred this game than syndicate but one idea is you play as Shay at certain points like how you played as Altiar in revelations and you see Shays life after he killed Arno's dad. You would also see how he became a darker character.

    • @DAndreClyburn9982
      @DAndreClyburn9982 7 лет назад +1

      EmperorGibby that's a fantastic idea and I know most people hate syndicate but hear me out. So Shay kills Arno's father and then vanishes....In the 10 to 15 year time span he meets a women named Evelin and she's special. He ends up having twins with her. Connor sends an Assassin with strict orders only to kill Shay for killing Achilies and the assassin kills Evelin instead because that was his lover so he thought. This brutal moment is what turn Shay evil but jus as evil and collected as Haythem was. Shay murders the Assassin and hangs him jus like the Romans hanged Jesus as a message to all assassins who ever wanted to kill him, this would be their impending deaths. Shay sends his twins to his sister and eventually she takes them to London with her. Shay follows them to London and stays far enough so no assassin can get to them through him and close enough to make sure they were safe. When the twins turned 15 is the day shay dies by Arno's hand like what #LazerzZ was saying how he died. Now I know it would have taken at least 4 generations to catch up to Jacob and Evie. And is in it cool that Evie got her name from her great great grandmother? That's what I got so far. What you guys think?

    • @calpone6399
      @calpone6399 7 лет назад +1

      Great idea but a question does Shay have a sister as I can't recall her being mentioned. That would be a fantastic twist that Shay kills Achilles but what would be better is that Achilles made Conner track down Shay on his deathbed and to finish him. Conner fails as he kills Shay's wife and Shay captures and tortures him. Conner revels that Achilles ordered the hit. He lets Conner live as respect to Haythen. Shay feels so guilty as he made Haythan only cripple Achilles. This is what drove Shay to become a lot darker.

    @LazerzZ I love your premise but I fear you may have missed on what would be a grand story opportunity.
    One of my first real gripes with Assassin‘s Creed: Unity was that there was no sign of Connor or Aveline. Not even a mention of them.Or the revolution in America from what I can remember.
    What a wasted fucking opportunity I said to myself. In addition they set it up so well in Assassin‘s Creed: Liberation and Assassin‘s Creed 3.
    See there’s plenty of reason you would see Connor. You may have forgotten but the Chanter Lafayette in Assassin‘s Creed 3 issued an invitation to Connor to visit France. His exact words were “One day when all this is over I will invite you to Paris to stay with me and my family. She is the most beautiful city in all the world, Connor, full of art and culture, women and wine.”
    Moreover Aveline de Grandpré the protagonist of Assassins Creed: Liberation was half French. Her story ended in 1777. However she remained active as an assassin through 1784.
    By 1788 she would have been 41 years old. We know that she could still be active at this age, because it’s your auditory was an Assassin well into his 50s.
    I was shocked when there was no mention of a sequel. That means no chance of them coming into play as far as I can tell.
    You see the game ended in 1794. That’s 5 years left to use the French Revolution as a backdrop. I would of hoped they wouldn’t let the opportunity for a wider narrative slip away. But they did.
    No mention of Shay Cormac. Even though the end of Assassin‘s Creed: Rogue set up Assassin‘s Creed: Unity perfectly. Moreover it would have been a nice plug to see Shay walking past the kids as they were playing with the apples. Just like in Assassin‘s Creed: Rogue.
    However the single player campaign came and went and no mention. In fact Arno is more obsessed with finding Elise's fathers killer then he is with his own fathers. And to have Shays uniform as a wearable outfit it’s like their fucking mocking their fan base.
    You see in 1786 the same ex-Assassin/Templar that dismantled Achilles Brotherhood in the colonies went to France to kill Arnos father and in his own words start a Revolution. The Invitation, The Times Coinciding. The fact that Conner may have wanted to do avenge Achilles greatest failure.
    That is a missed Opportunity, A Big One. Especially to those who think of Connor as their favorite. And know there is and should be more to his story.
    And a good idea for a sequel is quite literally right in front of them.
    Picture it; Shay Cormac continues his Obliteration of the Assassins. This time in Europe. Connor is tracking him. Aron learns that Shay is his father’s killer. And he begins to track him as well.
    They meet up somewhere in the middle. Each unaware of each other‘s intentions. They begin to clash, Then they conspire. All to bring down the greatest threat the Assassins Brotherhood has ever known.
    SHAY PATRICK CORMAC
    Too bad, it will never come to be. That’s a game I would love to fucking play.

  • @wafflingmean4477
    @wafflingmean4477 3 года назад +1

    My ultimate sequel would be Arno, Shay and Connor in the Napoleonic Wars. At the end of Rogue, Shay implies that the Templars are going to be behind the French Revolution. Shay could return to France after some time in London managing the order as a temporary Grand Master, and is now coming to France to stop Templar infighting, crush the Assassins, and regain a hold on the French Revolution. This would naturally lead him to Napoleon. Trying to control Napoleon or induct him into the Templars would be of vital importance. And if neither can be done, Shay would want to kill him.
    Shay will massacre the French Brotherhood, but Arno being removed from it won't be at their headquarters. So he'll survive and realise now the task is primarily on him to ensure the survival of the Brotherhood in France. That would also give Leon an important role, as in a way he is the future of the French Assassins.
    Connor could catch wind of what Shay is doing, and by this point he would understand that Shay was once the greatest enemy of Achilles, having destroyed the Colonial Brotherhood. Once Connor hears of the destruction of the French Brotherhood, he believes that the only one who can stop Shay is himself. He believes that any Assassin he sends would just die. Connor could be placed in something of a mentor role to Arno.
    I think Leon could play a crucial role in the plot if at some point Shay captures him. This could put Arno into overdrive and now instead of calmly believing he just needs to put a Templar down (by this point not really taking his father's death at Shay's hands that personally), he has to save his surrogate son. Also, Shay could use Leon as leverage to force Arno to actually have a conversation with him. I think it would be amazing for Shay to at least attempt to recruit Arno and Leon into the Templars, upon learning Arno was removed from the Brotherhood.

    @LazerzZ great video, really interesting and changing from your other content. I'm really eager to see the others. I have come up with the idea of a second story line.
    First, I think Arnaud could go with Napoléon in Egypt during his intervention to stop english control over the country and takes Léon with him and trains him. Then they return together to France.
    And then:
    What if Léon stays in France, while Arnaud (Arno's correct spelling) goes to England, and get involved in the conquest of Europe with Napoléon. For example, he starts as a simple footman and then does somekind of heroic action (saving mates or whatever), and Napoléon gets interested in him. Léon and Napoléon get familiar with each other and eventually become friends. Then Arnaud get back from London in France but while he was in England, a country which wasn't under Napoléon's control, he realizes France and Continental Europe have become a place without freewill, where order is set, just like the Templar's idea of utopia and then Arnaud decides to try to open Léon's eyes but he doesn't want to change anything because he finally achieves something bigger than himself and Léon eventually considers Arnaud as a threat to the Empire and try to stop him/kill him. Arnaud and Léon fight with each other and Arnaud, in spite of his age, is more skilled than is former aprantice and win the fight. He kills him or spare him and tries to re-establish freedom in Europe or tired to fight for principles, seeing his friends dying around him, he eventually leaves the brotherhood.

    I've thought a lot about a Unity sequel, but this is new. Even though I'd prefer a sequel set in Paris (with missions in other locations, maybe even Egypt), because I like the idea of an established map and gameplay, allowing them to focus all efforts on improving mechanics and building the Animus and modern-day narrative.
    But this is very cool stuff here. Léon would make a great secondary character.

  • @CullenPC
    @CullenPC 4 года назад +2

    We'll never get it, he might get a cameo in a future game. However even that's unlikely since the soft Origins reboot. It sucks though, because I felt Arno wasn't looked after that well. I'm not even referring to the shocking glitches the game had but his character development was really poor. He was so obsessed with Elise that he just didn't grow as a character. I think it would be cool to see him again, a few years older, wiser, a master assassin. Similar to Ezio's development. That's what was so good about Ezio. We went on that journey with him over several years where he grew as a person, matured and became a true leader to the Assassin's Brotherhood. The pain of losing Elise could have been the catalyst to his true Journey to being a mentor to the Brotherhood.

    Maybe it’d be cool if Arno’s sequel were an Assassin’s creed Origins DLC campaign changing some assets in Egypt so it might seem like it is during the XIX century, some Ezio from Revelations type of story, it would suit him very well as what could be evidenced by Dead Kings, which is more on the mysterious side of things, different to the regular urban Paris story where much of the focus is on the social turbulence, which is good but not as exiting.

    As for Shay being so old he can't really fight, I think it would be amazing to subvert this. Perhaps when Arno first finds Shay, he's doing his best impression of harmless old man. But as soon as Arno gets in close, Shay destroys him. Later, I think it would be great for Arno to say to Connor how insane it is that Shay could be so strong in his old age. Connor could then say something like:
    "My mentor once told me the story of a master Assassin from the 15th century, Ezio Auditore. It was said that even in his final years, Ezio was as stronger than most younger Assassins who were in their prime."
    Arno: "How did he manage that?"
    Connor: "He never stopped fighting, and training. He never gave his body the time to weaken."
    Arno: "So Master Cormac has not been idle."
    This would accomplish two things. Firstly it would explain how Shay can still wreck an Assassin or two without breaking a sweat, but also establish him in the player's mind as someone as relentless as Ezio.

    So i came late to the party but i just thought about an Arno trilogy just like Ezio had one, it might sound extremely fanfic tier but... fuck it, Unity deserved better as a whole
    *1st Game:* Arno joins the brotherhood and tries to look after the person who killed his father (Shay) and suspects that also killed De La Serre (similar to your video on Connor in Unity), he joins Elise to help him to locate Shay which ends on Arno killing several templars, the brotherhood then trusts Arno more and Bellec helps Arno to his cause, then he finds out Elise was helping Arno all along and gets in a fight with him, Arno and Elise both track down an older Shay who is weaker thanks to the American templar order being extremely weak after the events of 3, Elise tells Arno to forget about it but Arno full of frustration and rage kills Shay, the brotherhood expells Arno for joining with a templar, but Arno keeps in contact with Elise to hunt down more of their enemies
    *2nd Game:* After getting expelled from the Brotherhood, Arno starts making a name on his own thanks to his job along Elise, in which more and more people over France, look for him and try to join with his cause, making Arno turn slowly into a master assassin, this also with the contacts Arno got during it's lifetime (Napoleon for example), however the old Brotherhood tracks his assassins which results in a inner war between them, at the end Bellec tracks down Arno and tries to kill him which ends in Elise getting killed, Arno fulled again by anger leads it's brotherhood to end with the old one, resulting in a final confrontation against his old mentor, the game ends with Arno killing Bellec and being the new leader of a new creed, but losing his loved one
    *3rd Game:* Dead Kings but Arno also explores more from the kid and maybe a past assassin is envolved too (like Ezio and Altair in Revelations)

    No LazerZ you're wrong, rather than going to London or in addition to your suggestion of a London-based, Arno sequel to complete a trilogy, a game should of explored the Napoleonic Wars. Whilst I prefer the Origins, Egypt seamless open world mechanics, this type of sequel to resort back to 4/5 key cities or areas during the Napoleonic Wars.
    This has everything a great AC game has, a large conflict, historical characters and events, Europe-wide scale storyline with plenty of DLC possibilities.
    Geographies could/would include Northern Italy, Egypt, Germany, Austria, Central Europe, Prussia, Spain, etc.
    I'd suggest this game could start in Paris, focus a main map (seamless sandbox) on the Germanic States, Prussia & Austria, culminating in a separate map (similar but enhanced like Rome is in AC2 or Origins), obviously we would hear about the campaigns in Egypt, Spain and Russia from Napoleon. Based on Origins a modern version of this could possibly incorporate small amounts of Switzerland and Northern Italy, Confederation of the Rhine, Eastern Austria and Prussia. Key cities would include Vienna, etc.

    • @alexboothe92
      @alexboothe92 6 лет назад

      Instant dismissal. Well I guess you can't help it.
      You could easily do both to create an Arno trilogy - that would be cool.
      The locations you could cover in the Napoleonic Wars wouldn't get a look in for the most part and explore a historical period that most know little about, which has some great events and potential characters.
