My opinion is that Mae did go there expecting some sort of romantic encounter. Why would she travel from the Western US to Eastern Canada just to try his food (have you seen is food)? She really expected him to pick her up at the airport and take her to the trap and was angry that he didn't. That was in the texts. I don't think so, I think we would have heard this by now from somewhere, also, she was streaming most of the day and for over 6 hours at night until probably about 3 or 4 am high af, she wasn't going anywhere after that stream. Im fairly new to GW. I had an opportunity for a Major catch up during my 2 months of down time around the holidays due to a hysterectomy. I realized A LOT about Chantal that was so disturbing. Im a Criminal psychologist so i have years of experience dealing with people who have severe psyche issues like her. Im also a federal law enforcement officer who fights for trafficking victims so this infuriates me beyond belief! Idk how Canada's justice system works, but i dont understand why tf she and her streams haven't been subpoenaed.
Well, the trial will be in March, took Canada "only" 2.5 years. And he is already a convicted felon for stabbing an ex and her male cousin and was in jail for it. He already has a record involving violence against a woman. But Canada lets him run free for 2.5 years. Don't even want to know how many more victims there are because he is still out there. Did you ever see the SBL videos that they tried to sell as BDSM where he is very abusive with DD? And now her elderly mother is living with them and they brag about how he is bathing her, etc., it's sickening. We don't really know what they did, but yeah, they should use her streams with her changing story on a daily basis, especially in the beginning. That's how I knew from the start it actually happened while a lot of people didn't believe the victim. I did right away because of the crazy changing stories. At the same time she is a horrible liar and that could maybe do more harm than good?
