Thank you for providing us fine low density haired ladies with this video! Also I appreciate the tip about staggering the parts so the overall look won't appear so "scalpy".
Thank you. Yours is the first video that I have viewed that looks like my hair after it is twisted. I concur with the notion that you have to learn to work with the hair you have and love your hair. After watching your video I see some things I might be able to do to frame my face better. But most importantly I see there is nothing wrong with my twists. They are my natural twists and they look. . . Natural. Thanks again you and all the others who have commented have been an encouragement to me.
If your hair is high porosity, fragile and intolerant of tension, then I’ve finally found my hair twin (my hair might be coilier). My mini twists end up too tangled and shrunken so I don’t do them anymore. I’ve recently tried mini braids; it works but you have to go slow especially taking them down, I take 7 days, 3-4 hrs per day. Just tried finger coils, they work 2 and are quicker and easier to install and take down. Your twists look amazing.
I’m so happy for you embracing your natural hair! I agree it’s hard when it doesn’t look like what’s on RUclips but we all have different hair and deserve for it to be healthy in its on way. I’m embracing my fine hair mini twists too 😊
Love this style on my hair, my hair is thin like yours. To add extra volume, after about a week separate each twist and retwist each section. This doubles the amount of twist. Depending on your length you can rod for more volume.
The mini twists look so pretty. I keep my hair in twists after cutting off my nearly 30 yrs of locs. My hair is fine too so it was great to see someone with hair texture similar to mine. It was also great to see someone not slaying their edges. I am beyond fed up of people playing with their edges. Leave them alone. Where did you get your spray bottle? It is super cute. I live in the UK 🇬🇧 and have not seen them in the shops here. I might have to order it online. Do you wash your hair with the twists in or undone?
Thank you so much. Yes, I do not like to do the elaborate edges. Simple is key for me. I want to keep my edges. Lol! They sell the spray bottles everywhere here in the US like beauty supply stores and Sally’s beauty supply. You may want to check Amazon. I didn’t wash my hair with the twists. I didn’t leave them up long enough for a wash. Thanks for watching ❤️
Thank you so much this video. Your hair is my hair, shrinkage and all. I just started doing mini twists because sometimes a person wants to wear their own hair. Again this is cute.
I remember the girl on the movie Tyler Perry's Family Reunion the female that ended up getting married wore her hair in two strand twist and I thought it was so pretty. Thank you for this video. I have the same texture and fine hair plus it's grey. I have just did finger coils today on my hair. I will do the two strand next time just to have a different style. Love your hair..I am loving my hair more in this greying natural stage. Thanks for the encouragement beautiful.
Yes her hair was beautiful in the movie. I’m happy that I could help even a little and thanks for watching. ❤️ I have never tried finger coils. Maybe I should. 🤔
Yes to everything you said….when I do my twists I don’t twist to the end…. I twist down and then finger twist the ends so that it’s easier to take out and it makes cute curly ends….I too don’t do all the edge swirling at my age.😅
Check out my video on how I styled mine. Maybe it will help you get more comfortable wearing them. The older they get, the better they look to me when you have fine hair. Thanks for watching. 😊
I am part of the low density/fine hair committee. Your video is encouraging, I definitely need to work on loving my thin hair. Your twist came out great, keep us posted on how you styled them...new subbie btw!
Beautiful! I am currently wearing this style and I have the same issue. My hair is fine 4c texture. I haven't mastered hiding the gaps in between parts however, I'm taking notes! Great video! Are you still loving this style?
Your hair turned out so pretty, my hair is fine too. I learned to love it..I am currently growing my hair out using mini twist..it really works..love your hair it will grow fast before you know it..
Your hair is like mine and I have been rocking this style for over 10 yrs. I just have grey and I like/love it. My hair is thin on top but I still have hair at 62 yrs old and I'm using Aunt Jackie's product this season. I love this style on you and me too. Its versatile for pulling up with a bun and can easily accommodate a wig when you need a change. Luv it!
Looks like my hair sis lol. Thank you for sharing this sis. I jus did mine. I wanna keep them in throughout summer. I usually wear head wraps. So it’s not always uncovered so this is easy for me.
Yes!! I’m glad you did yours. They are a great protective style. You can also wear them in different styles. I also posted a video on ways I styled mine.
Came out beautifully . My crown is the thinnest driest and shortest part of my hair. The back looks nice and thick but middle crown up :( dang disaster. My twist never lay flat ever. I usually do crochet or braids but I really need to let my hair and scalp take a rest but when I wear it out my scalp gets irritate and the hair just becomes dry and brittle. I also play in it too often so I’m guilty either way . I can’t keep my crochet in longer than 2 weeks so I’m always messing with it lol dang struggle up. I did try Chebe power and my hair loved it! But so messy. But the moisture retention was amazing
You can keep your hair from shrinking as much by braiding sections of the twists together at night and undoing them when you are ready to wear the twists.
Try a cheap conditioner before you taken them down. Like Pantene or creme of nature. Apply directly to the twists. Like saturate each one. This has helped me. My hair is thin/fine & curly so I have to be careful when I do twists. Hope this helps.😊
I have fine hair strands too. So, what I do to keep from catching hair from the section that I am twisting or braiding, I use children's small plastic barrettes, from black beauty supply store, to hold small sections of hair out of the way. That helps me with this problem. Love your hair.
Your hair looks like my hair. I don’t like it in this style! My hair is actually like this right now but it goes under my wigs. I prefer to wear a high puff where it looks voluminous.
Thats so cute I love it. You have been put on my heart for prayer I hope you dt mind. Lord bless Dede and I pray for her to accept you as her Lord and savior if she already hasnt. pray also for her to surrender her life get into you r word to know you better bless her health and keep her and her family safe in Jesus name amen. take care and thanks again.

You are so welcome!
I love the way you did that. My hair is similar to yours- I tell everybody you have to love your hair and it will grow. Thanks for sharing
Yes, I agree. Thanks for watching!😊
Yes. I can be so disappointed with how my thin, hair styles turn out. Learning to accept it.
You and me both!

You’re welcome. I’m happy that my little video is helping so many of us in our fine hair community. 😊
I have the same kind of hair. I am still learning to love it.
Came out soon Cute. We do have struggles with our fine hair.
Yes we do. We can’t wear every style.

ChronicFatigueHermitHiker My twists didn’t tangle, so I was thankful for that.

Yes to the fine hair naturals!!

Thanks for the tip. I will try that next time. 😊

Hi! I just bought this spray bottle from Amazon.com!
Thank you so much this video. Your hair is my hair, shrinkage and all. I just started doing mini twists because sometimes a person wants to wear their own hair. Again this is cute.
You’re welcome! I completely agree. Thanks for watching! ☺️
You're gorgeous and your hair is beautiful. As a fine haired 4c curly, I am very inspired.
Thank you so much ☺️ I’ll keep the videos coming.

You have serious shrinkage. I did not expect the lenghth of your twists. Very nice!
Yes it shrinks so bad. Lol! Thank you
Yes to everything you said….when I do my twists I don’t twist to the end…. I twist down and then finger twist the ends so that it’s easier to take out and it makes cute curly ends….I too don’t do all the edge swirling at my age.😅
Right bc I’m not trying to look like a teenager or a twenty-something year old. 😂
My hair is very similar to yours. I’ve recently put in mini twists and I’m still trying to used to it. Your style came out very cute!
Check out my video on how I styled mine. Maybe it will help you get more comfortable wearing them. The older they get, the better they look to me when you have fine hair. Thanks for watching. 😊

Thank you so much for watching and subbing. I actually filmed a video on the different styles. Check it out. It's all about the journey.😊
Really cute job. My hair is short too.
Beautiful! I am currently wearing this style and I have the same issue. My hair is fine 4c texture. I haven't mastered hiding the gaps in between parts however, I'm taking notes! Great video! Are you still loving this style?
Yes I enjoyed wearing it. I can’t wait to do it again.
Looks Really PRETTY!!! New Fellow Fine-Haired Sista!!!
Hi hun! Thanks for watching!
Nice. I struggle with shrinkage and thinness also.
Your hair turned out so pretty, my hair is fine too. I learned to love it..I am currently growing my hair out using mini twist..it really works..love your hair it will grow fast before you know it..
Thanks. I haven’t done the mini twists again since I filmed this video, but I will soon. We have to love what we have. ❤️
Very cute! I'm transitioning, but my hair is fine and thin as well. I'm so happy I'm not alone! I'm a new subbie...❤
You are definitely not alone. I went through the transition phase for a while before I big chopped. Thanks for subscribing 😊
You are beautiful and I love this video. It gives me great hope for my thin 4c/4d salt and pepper hair. Thank you!

Yes!! I’m glad you did yours. They are a great protective style. You can also wear them in different styles. I also posted a video on ways I styled mine.
You can also use perm rods to create more volume, rolling about half-way up the twist so not too curly
Oh thanks for the tip
it looks very elegant on you
Thanks ☺️
Your twists look beautiful! I have to braid, my hair will un braid itself and go into a corkscrew curl 😩
Thank you ☺️
Thanks for the inspiration ❤. You have not posted more videos on updates. I am going to embrace mine too
I did post a video on different styles. You are right though, more natural hair updates coming soon.

Chloe Easley I haven’t tried Chebe before, but I’m interested. It does seem pretty messy, but my hair needs moisture.
Your hair is beautiful😍 great video thanks for sharing.
Thank you hun!
You can keep your hair from shrinking as much by braiding sections of the twists together at night and undoing them when you are ready to wear the twists.
Yes I actually do this at night to stretch my hair.
You're so pretty!!😍😍
Aww thank you!
Your twists are so cute 🥰🥰🥰
Sashie E TV Thank you. They are so low maintenance. Love it!
I love twists bc I’m a lazy natural.😂 How long do your twists last?
I kept them up for 2 weeks
I love the results!!
Thank you 😊
How do u take your hair down because I tried the same way but my hair was so tangled taking it down ??
😲 Really? They are still up actually. I’ll let you know. I just refreshed them.
Try a cheap conditioner before you taken them down. Like Pantene or creme of nature. Apply directly to the twists. Like saturate each one. This has helped me. My hair is thin/fine & curly so I have to be careful when I do twists. Hope this helps.😊
Try twisting the braid in the opposite direction from how you twisted initially and it will "unravel".
I was wondering the same thing. My hair is so thin. I didn't want the situation worse when taking it down, with the tangling.
I have fine hair strands too. So, what I do to keep from catching hair from the section that I am twisting or braiding, I use children's small plastic barrettes, from black beauty supply store, to hold small sections of hair out of the way. That helps me with this problem. Love your hair.

Love it do more!!!
I will. Thank you 😊
Me too on the baby hair lol

Your hair looks like my hair. I don’t like it in this style! My hair is actually like this right now but it goes under my wigs. I prefer to wear a high puff where it looks voluminous.
I don’t think my hair ever looks voluminous, but I get it. 😂
new sub here love
