Cabo da Roca - The Westernmost Point of the European Continent.

Cabo da Roca is a beautiful and Rocky Mountains. Cliffs are more than 140m in height. It is located in Colares, municipality of Sintra and 42km west west of the City of Lisbon.There is a Lighthouse which originally began operated year 1772. The lighthouse stands 165m above the atlantic Ocean and this height means that the 1,000 watt light can be seen 46km away.
