That can vary from city to city in the US. With certain requirements for restaurants for one space for 4 people for instance, in retail it might be so many hundred square feet per space. And this might all change as a way of reducing parking requirements in the future. For environmental reasons. Also will vary if mass transit is available in some cities.
This video is based on PD 1096. We appreciate your feedback. You can watch our IBC video if you’re interested here: ruclips.net/video/sF1z4WEb7yc/видео.html
@@arkishare2462 : yes the IBC as used in the US has a kind of reverse system of 1 through 5. In the US, type 1 is the most restrictive, while type 5 construction (typical light wood frame) is the least restrictive. Its kind of ironic it is called the International Building Code (IBC).
Hello Chrisha! Yes, we based this one on the NBC of PH. We released a video we created about the International Building Code (IBC) used by all the states in USA a few days ago. You can use this link to watch it: ruclips.net/video/sF1z4WEb7yc/видео.html

Hello! Is there a video explaining the parking requirements on each building/structure type?

Regarding: Timed section 8:10 on Construction Types is incorrect per the IBC 2018.

In your video, you have the construction type number labels flipped! Types 1-3 are non-combustible, types 4-5 are combustible.

7:53 into the video the Construction types are inaccurate and flat out wrong. See chapter 6 of the IBC or CBC
Hi! Is this based on the National Building Code of the Philippines?

Thank you so much T-T
Note: Construction types aren't wrong, but completely backward.
I hate the metric system for building trades! Sure it is great for science but this is the pits!
Shaddap.
Type of construction is inaccurate.
