You guys are spot on about end of games. It is all working exactly as intended. The whole point of the NBA literally isn't about the fans, it's about paying the advertisers and creating good PR opportunities for the corporations involved.
So someone from the UK watching NBA live can be extremely hard. I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve fallen asleep during a pointless lengthy stop in play. Really kills the buzz of a game. It feels like it’s taking longer and longer to make decisions and the 1 minute timeouts are like 5 minutes these days. I don’t get adverts so I don’t know if this is wrong, but the in building entertainment seems to also delay restarts sometimes. They could just be waiting to come back from ad breaks, but there has been times the commentary is going and the ‘entertainment’ is still going on with the players on the court ready to go

As a Rockets fan, I would’ve wanted Jimmy 2-3 years ago. But not now with JG locked up on a good contract and the team chemistry they’ve shown shouldn’t be messed with.
For me, the only positive of the end of NBA on TNT, was the hope I'd never have to hear Reggie Miller call a game again. There is not a more biased or annoying commentator in all of sports IMHO.

I kind of agree. I think the teams should be able to take time outs, and the refs can review (although a time limit could be added for this, they just take to long. If it’s that hard to see, keep the original call). But it is VERY annoying that time outs regularly take significantly longer than 1 minute, due to ads or entertainment or whatever. These all add to the significant time the last two minutes of a game can take. I don’t mind the teams wanting to wins games and the refs to get it right, but just keep the timeout-and review-time limited!
Missed the first game, but absolutely pointless to have the Jason Kidd mic mid game. Not a fan unless it’s certain coaches: Thibs, JJ, Doc, etc. maybe Billups if he’ll call his guys losers mid game
