- Today's video shows the delivery of 4 of 12 bridge beams that will form the new overbridges at Hirwaun. The wide load convoy made it's way from South West England with an official escort from South Wales Police.

Oh that's why the bridge beams where going through Newport, I was on the SDR when they were being transported
Where were these bridge sections made ? I've just been to see the new footbridge at Cefn Coed area, and check on progress of bridge uprights . Great video .
I'm not too sure where they were made, only that they came from the South West. I believe there are more on the way. Between Hirwaun and Cefn the project is starting to gather pace. Still a long way to go though :)
Did hear this week, one of the major contractors has gone bankrupt , you heard anything similar
@@andrewrees8749 Yes, Roadbridge which was one of the main companies that made up the FVC consortium went into administration. I've enquired with Future Valleys and they say they expect this to have some impact but they aren't expecting any severe disruption to the programme of works as a result. Most of the staff have apparently gone over to an agency. Will be interesting to see how things work out.
When are you going to do another full drive through on the A465?
