Soleil was absolutely adorable at that age. She has an amazing personality--so friendly and down-to-earth. And you know, she really hasn't changed that much at all. She looks, sounds, and acts basically the same way she did when she was young. I loved watching her as Punky!
"It's French for 'the sun'." "It's French with a what?" LOL, I love that part where she's trying to explain her name to him!
Punky and Blossom coming together for a worthy cause...now they're all grown up with kids of their own
"Mayim says l'chaim"! LOLOL. That is priceless. That should have been the "Seacrest out!" of the '90s.
Who's watching this after seeing Kid 90?
Meeee! Loved it
Saw it last night. Made me miss the 90’s so much. Amazing bio and watching this is funny seeing her tell kids not to use drugs…
Punky Brewster and Blossom! 😎👍❤️
Back in the 80s and 90s they were always saying that drug dealers gave free drugs to the kids outside of schools. But I remember waiting for them for hours and they never showed up.
Yeah, they said that they'd give you the drugs for free the first few times and then start charging you after that. I would have just taken the ones they gave me for free and sold them to someone else.
This gets me STARTED RIGHT BACK UP ON HER AGAIN!!! I wish Soleil would maintain that hairstyle though! :D
I love her hair like that
She certainly caught MY attention over the years...Nobody else tops her in my book. :-)
"The truth about a 'roni she's a sweet ol' girl, about the sweetest little girl in the whole wide world. She'll make the toughest homeboy fall deep in love. Said once you have a 'roni you will never give her up. She's a special kind if girl that makes her daddy feel proud. You know, the kind if girl that stands out in crowds? Finally found a 'roni and my 'roni is so right. I think I'm gonna love her for the rest of my life." - A treasure to behold she was. Old school love when it was real.
She was my very first human crush, as a boy for a reason... My late mother even reminded me, (and I too rembered,) that I recited in a dream, that, "I wanted to marry 'Punky Brewster.' " 😄
cada vez que veo este video siempre me imagino como hubiera sido una quinta temporada de punky brewster.
Teenage girl is so beautiful and I believe she was then 14 or 16 years old around that time when she came on this telethon Netwerk because she is even more beautiful as a teenager.
Love Mayim and Soleil
That's Blossom herself Mayim
#PunkyPower is returning!
"Hey Mr., you got that stuff that makes you feel good all over?"
u said it bro!!!
God I miss the 90’s!
You would watch Blossom religiously.
Punky Reunion!!!! wayyyy overdue
10 years later soilel will be playing punky again
omg! This is so funny. she sounds like her character out of Beaches. :0)

I love the Chabad telethon
Here they both are beautiful Mayim is not ugly she is a princess just like Soleil. Whoever said Mayim is ugly better rethink what they are saying !!!To me Mayim and Soleil are both girlfriend material even today!!!
HI Eric I agree with you Soleil and Mayim are still two beautiful ladies whoever said that they are not are idiots and needs to have their eyes checked.
How gay
Why are people so mean? It's infuriating.
Yeah you can tell she was definitely growing here but she did look very beautiful obviously this must have been when the show ended cause she is a bit taller( and mean her height before you people say anything stupied).
Omg her daughters are literally copies of her! They look exactly like her in different ways
Red Green...lol!
Wow Blossom reminds me of Hillary Clinton back in the early 90's

Yes she is Jewish... i mean it couldn't be any more obvious right?
So some people made fun of her cause of that... but i think she is really cute...
just doesn't work. Or Mark Paul Gosselar (AKA Zack Morris from Saved by the Bell) If you take Paul out, you get Mark Gosselar, which doesn't sound as nice as Mark Paul. There are a few more examples but you get the point. Anyway, nice vintage 80s video, and both Soleil and Mayim are stunning.
They were kids when this was filmed
shes olny 13 there looks older
Naming your kid "Sun Moon" is not that far from naming her "Red Green", if you ask me.
OMG, Mayim's hair! That was a dynamite look for 1984, but it does not age well. And by 1989, it was about as odd as it is today. Still, she's SO cute and earnest here that you have to love her. She's like a cousin who's just on the verge of turning bershon and sarcastic but for now she's pretty nice. Bland but nice. And in five years she'll be hot and nice, but in the meantime she's gonna be a nightmare.
I think it's funny how some famous kid stars are known professionally by their full names. Full names to me are reserved for parents to address their kids when the kids are misbehaving and being naughty. Take Ms Fry for example, She is known as Soleil Moon Fry professionally, and her name is so beautiful and flowing that take one piece out and it just doesn't sound right at all. Take her middle name out of the equation, and it's just awful. Soleil Fry? Gotta have the Moon part in there or it
Soleil was practicing the art of BS in this telethon. "You don't need drugs to be cool." She got high with her pals after this taping.
She said she wasn't doing drugs at this point. She said she did it at a later age
You seem a bit toxic here sweetie...
She's Jewish?
@dopebozoish and I bet she was high during that quick interview!
She doesn't have any hair.
😳😳
didnt she had a drug addiction when punky went off the air ?
Soliel never touched drugs.
@@tsukisan6765 yeah, she did. She was talking about it on Jimmy Kimmel tonight.
