I'm so ready for this season go chiefs!
this is actually the most accurate representation of worthy i’ve seen yet
Damn, thanks man! I appreciate you checking it out
then you havent watched any of Coles videos from HBTC. this guys video is nice don't get me wrong, but Cole is in collaboration with the chiefs. something NO other youtuber is doing currently. and thats due to him making true accurate videos on ALL chiefs related news.
@@-KPG- the reason i say it’s accurate is because i’ve literally watched every snap from worthy on an all22 view point and i agree with almost every thing he said compared to other youtube’s who just see “fast” and think he’s a one trick pony
@@-KPG-no he fucking isn’t lmao
@@-KPG-he’s just a fan posting his thoughts online. He has no real connections lol he’s literally just regurgitating headlines from Reddit and RUclips that he’s compiling in one place
Great breakdown on Worthy
Thanks man! I appreciate that 🙌🏻
If you look deeper into his numbers there is a reason why he had so many drops. Essentially he only had one season with a very bad drop percentage and he had a broken hand during the season. All his other seasons he averaged a better drop percentage then people like davante Adam’s and others. I don’t remember the numbers to be exact but I don’t believe the drops are a huge concern.
Worthy played with a broken hand the year he had all those drops..
Most guys wouldn't have even played like that but he's obviously a team-first guy who's not worried about stats etc that could hurt his draft stock..
Edit: other than that most important note, great video.. you know American football
Totally get that for 2022! The footage in this video is all 2023 though! Thanks for the comment man I appreciate the feedback 🙌🏻
His ball tracking is also great.
Great breakdown mate, I saw from one of your comments that you’re looking at Dell next to see the similarities. Can’t wait!
Yessir!!
GREAT JOB ALEX!! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. I can't wait to see what you do when the season starts.
Absolutely man! My pleasure. In season is going to be a movie 🙌🏻🫡
I’m so ready for this season
It's well to note, I believe, Worthy played a lot of recent snaps with a broken hand. If he can withstand the pressure of playing in the NFL, 'cos it looks like some Chiefs crumbled when it came to show time, then I hope he becomes a huge star. I do worry a defender will try to obliterate him in the tackle, but Andy Reid has worked with speedy, smaller framed guys in the past, so if there is anyone who can make good things happen, it's him. I do not want to see is a turgid Chiefs offence. I want fireworks. I want fun. I want Mahomes torching defences.
Nice video! Thanks for sharing!
Anytime man! Thanks for checking it out 🙌🏻
Kelce did not have a "down year." It was 16 yards short of 8-straight 1,000 yard seasons in just 15 games. Plus, playoffs.
Otherwise, this was a decent video/evaluation. I think Chiefs fans need to be a little patient with Worthy until he has been on the field halfway through the season. If he is able to make 2-3 catches per game and get the defense to back up some early on, I consider it a win. With Kelce, Brown, and Rice going into the season I like our chances. I think Jared Wiley will be a legit red-zone target, also. Especially in 2 TE sets near the endzone. I think Worthy, Watson, Hardman, and Moore all make the team. I am not sure about Toney.
He said down year by his standards, which are really high
@@stebo5562 Is 1,100 yards considered a down year for Kelce?
Big Red will Coach that out of him he emphasis ball control 💪
Another good breakdown, Alex. Always learning from these! Any plans to do any defensive breakdowns?
Yeah man I’d love to eventually! Studying corners is my favorite, the only issue is people don’t like to watch them as much 😭
@@AlexandtheNFL yeah it’s a shame that’s the case! Corners & Edge rushers are so interesting to watch from my POV. Maybe you and I will just have to enjoy that Defense film together 🙂
Hahaha yeah that sounds like a plan dude 😂 thanks for supporting the channel. I appreciate you
I feel like the chiefs will play him as a starter if he starts the season off well. The chiefs usually play their first round picks at the beginning off the season so if he shows flashes he will probably not lose that spot
That may well be the case! Will be great to see how he gets on early in the year
Andy has a tendency to bring his receivers along pretty slowly though. Last year, with Rice, was an anomaly, since they literally had no one else to go to much of the time.
Andy usually wants his WRs to know all three positions before he’ll trust them to full playing time. I do believe he’ll be used quite a bit though.
Worthy’s drop rate really isn’t that bad. In his junior year, he played most of the season with a broken hand, which skewed his stats (and film, I’d imagine) a bit. If you take out that 3/4ths of the season, his drop rate is better, or very close to, Marvin Harrison Jr & other highly ranked WRs from the ‘24 class.
Great breakdown, please could you do one on Skyy Moore. Really think he has the talent but struggles with the offense and playing time
I’ll add him to the list! Maybe combine Moore and Toney into one??
Yeah
Let's refresh all you youngin's on some NFL history. A benchmark for Hall of Fame is often Tiki Barber. Tiki was notorious for dropping the ball.
it got to the point where the coach adopted some high school and college tactics, whereby Tiki was forced rt carry a football everywhere he went,
And team mates were given a green light to attempt to swat it out of his hangs.
Also, Tiki adopted a carrying style that increased his chances of maintaining the ball at all times.
all this to say, so many narratives freak out over drops, fumbled passes, and the such.
With regards to fumbles, this can be coached out of a player.
Dropped passes are the responsibility of both the QB and receiver until such time as the receiver has it.
I.e. if the QB continuously incorrectly passes behind the receiver, it's not the receiver's fault.
This too can be coached out.
So my advice to everyone. Don't blame the player, as it's the coaches that need to step up and curb this behavior.
@IGI_Media Tiki Barber would not have had the statistics that he did, had he not had Plaxico Burress holding defensive backs downfield on virtually every significant sized run.
I do not dispute your insight on fumbling/coaching. I am just not a fan of the treatment that benefited Tiki Barber.
Nice work, especially for a non English speaker. ;)
Fast with elite routes and a smaller frame he reminds me of tank dell
Studying Tank Dell this week to see just how similar they are!
Worthy was playing with a broken hand during those dropped passes.
In 2022, this is all 2023 film
I just want him to be a randy moss. Keep him from major injuries. Tony, rice, Hollywood can handle that intermediate stuff.
can you breakdown ad mitchell
Already recorded! Goes live early next week 🤝🏻🙌🏻
You didnt mention that he played most of the year with a broken hand!!
Only reason I didn’t was because that was the 2022 season, I only used 2023 film for this video
He almost always gets caught from behind
Are you saying Philadelphia Reagles?
No… lol
@@AlexandtheNFL Oh! Then you're saying Philadelphier The city name is PhilidelphiA. It ends in an A. "ah" sound.
Were you aware that most of his drops were when he was playing with a broken hand in 2022?
Yessir, this is all 2023 film
He dropped a few because he was playing with a Brocken hand
In 2022, this was all 2023 film
Worthy’s QB in Texas wasn’t a very good passer. I bet he has a lot better numbers with Mahomes and even Wentz throwing to him. GO CHIEFS THREE PEAT👍
And also these RUclips commentators keep forgetting he played a year with a broken hand. That’s why he would drop the ball.
