  • Should you pre-heat your air fryer or not? Pre-heating is done for two reasons, firstly to ensure recipe times are accurate and secondly because some things (particularly baked items) fair better in a hot oven, but does that carry over from a regular oven to an air fryer when air fryers come to temperature much quicker? In this video I cook some of the most temperamental baked dishes both in a cold air fryer and in a pre-heated one and show you the difference between the results.

Cake tins are from Lakeland, but the size they sell now is 2cm wider. These are a good substitute amzn.to/4c6JibI

Now that was a fantastic test. Everything worked out great in the cold air fryer. I agree, don't bother preheating.

Many thanks for all your great videos. Will you ever do a test on the Phillips 3000 dual air fryer please. Although I did love your review on the Cosori. Many thanks

Enjoyed your video as usual, one question if I may, what size are your cake tins and where could I purchase, thanks.

They are 16cm across and are from Lakeland, I had them for years and didn't really use them and then air fryers came along and they are the perfect fit! Sadly the current ones Lakeland sell are bigger (18cm) This might be a good equivalent though.. amzn.to/4c7pEwb

Can we use silicone pots on stainless steel airfryers

I think you need to go back to school and learn what air fryers does. You just used yours to bake bread, that can be done in a normal oven, since it doesn't take advantage of air frying.
At least use breadsticks without the container that ruins the point of the air fryer.

You’re hilarious! Air fryers are incredibly versatile and like an oven (which is what they are) can be used for a huge range of cooking
