Very interesting vlog. When you cooked the soufflé you said 180 normal oven . . is that a normal oven with or without fan? Sorry if I sound a bit dense but I'm just trying to get used to adjusting temperatures for my air fryer😬
Hiya, this was interesting. I tend not to preheat myself, with the exception of my ninja health grill. I have a quick question for you, I am receiving the Cosori double draw tomorrow and I know that you said, that this one pre heats, so is it worth the pre heat time or if there is an over ride for it, would you recommend to switch it off? I am always grateful for your advice. Jane
They are 16cm across and are from Lakeland, I had them for years and didn't really use them and then air fryers came along and they are the perfect fit! Sadly the current ones Lakeland sell are bigger (18cm) This might be a good equivalent though.. amzn.to/4c7pEwb
@@CandidClara Thanks for the reply, i will find that fit now that i know what i am looking for, thanks, keep up the good work as i and others appreciate your independent reviews, thanks for them.
Always appreciate the feedback, it’s difficult with the things you suggest to show noticeable difference on camera, they might cook faster but only by a couple of minutes and it takes that long to preheat!
Many thanks for all your great videos. Will you ever do a test on the Phillips 3000 dual air fryer please. Although I did love your review on the Cosori. Many thanks
One thing you didn't make evident is that Jamie Oliver has been a brand ambassador/promoter for Tefal for a good many years. Second, I wrote software for human Interface Devices for a good number of years and it drives me crazy the amount of just bad and badly tested software on the consumer market!
i see you use: COSORI and NINJA .. do you have a favorite? why do these videos? are you just bored? have no proper job? your very good at what you do... x
Haha! You do realise RUclipsrs earn a share of advertising revenue right? I use lots of brands of air fryer, but our family one is the Cosori dual basket as that is the one I like most.
I think you need to go back to school and learn what air fryers does. You just used yours to bake bread, that can be done in a normal oven, since it doesn't take advantage of air frying. At least use breadsticks without the container that ruins the point of the air fryer.
Now that was a fantastic test. Everything worked out great in the cold air fryer. I agree, don't bother preheating.
Thanks Philip, I’m glad you are a relaxed cook like me!

Sorry no, that would be a fan oven, I’ve never actually had an oven that doesn’t have a fan!
@CandidClara thank you 😊

You switch the preheat off each time you use it, you don’t need to use it, but for certain things you may want to
Enjoyed your video as usual, one question if I may, what size are your cake tins and where could I purchase, thanks.

Great video and info, but I would've liked to see this same test using meats instead of pastries. (Steak, chops, etc).

@@CandidClara awsome vid quick and simple. I love you!
Ahhh thanks! x
Can we use silicone pots on stainless steel airfryers
Yes
Can you post your bread recipe?
I will do if I can remember which one I used, but I suspect it would have been from this book amzn.to/3OdIgj9

Yes, I will add this one to list and do my best, it might be a few weeks though!
@@CandidClara Thanks Clara and keep up the great work

Is it relevant that he's been a brand ambassador for them for years?

You’re hilarious! Air fryers are incredibly versatile and like an oven (which is what they are) can be used for a huge range of cooking
