dyno is just a tune aid so you don't have to drive around with a 2 people 1 person driving 1 person on the laptop. the peak power figure can vary a lot due to temp and atmospheric pressure, so I wouldn't take much notice of it + - 35kw
@@kevinobrien4155 35kw difference? Look, I was asking because I work in this industry. Thats quite, but I remember a long time ago, there was a performance shop that could be up to 50hp difference, but it was much higher powered cars. So, you could be onto something. Chances are I think it might be different, but what you said isn't BS. Cheers
@@chemobchemob Yes I did over a weekend. Very straight forward with the cam upgrade kit from OZTrack I also did a trunion upgrade for safety when installing a higher lift cam I started 8am friday and i drove it out the garage at lunch time Saturday.
@@jahnperez5060 The tune came from Oz Track as part of the kit, They send you an Autocal preloaded with a base tune. You then upload it (about 5mins) then you drive and record the data and send that back to them via an online portal. This process is repeated until the car is perfect. As Oztrack have a huge amount of experience doing LS engines, The base tune was extremely close. I'm very happy with the car 1 year on and highly recommend there LSV cam for good traffic and highway manners and great performance. Hope this helps
@@michaelsawley6569 Ah right, so you fitted a camshaft in a Friday morning, tuned it all properly, and had it ready Saturday to drive? And did it in your own garage? EDIT: this here, reeks of BS, mate.
Best Vid so far many thanks...:-) I'm about to do the same to my VT SS.... Minus obviously the AFM DOD LOL....
Did you change the oil pump from a high pressure to a high volume unit?
The power figure is quite low compared to other workshops doing camshaft upgrades. Is it this dyno itself?

Does cam fit out without moving ac condenser
Just had vcm16, 2.5 exhaust, otr and stainless headers. 280kw in my vf as. Wish I got my power feels like a waste of money
Go for bigger exhaust and another tuner, I had VCM16 and got 314kw at that time
I got 335 kw with my vcm16
I got 300rwkw with an LS3 cam on my L98. Springs, pushrods, are stock. It's a manual though.
I got 312 on my ls1 with vcm16
I would find another tuner, mine is @ 283KW, L77 stock cam on E85
I'm doing a LSV cam, tune and DOD Delete over Easter on my VE L76,
How did you go with the mod? Did you do it yourself?

@@michaelsawley6569 how did you tune it yourself? Tuning one of these usually takes at least a day or thereabouts.
