I see a lot of people frustrated that these poses aren't 'made easy'. With yoga it's important to remember your level and to honor where your body is at. After you have practiced a while and when your body is ready this video will be useful in helping you achieve these difficult poses. We must walk before we fly. Namaste.
Man so many people giving her shit for being skinny. She is obviously a master at this which means she's put in thousands of hours of practice. Maybe once you do that you won't feel the need to hate on her for her body type
70 percent of the country are fat fucks...for the love of God why would anyone care what they think about how fit people look??? That's like my broke brother making fun of me if I had millions. Seriously
I dunno what anyone would expect from a yogi. And there are plenty of yogis of different sizes to follow. I'm finally at a healthy weight but my thighs are still huge, I have massive quad muscles so I'm definitely apprehensive about if I'll be able to do what she's doing lool It's a lot of leg to balance on my arms basically 😆
@@crystalwaters9963 this is true, for example II was reading about infant mortality rates in different countries the other day and its crazy how much obesity increases it. Yet we're so used to seeing fat everywhere, it's scary.
Thank you so very much for breaking down these poses. I love doing yoga, naturally I am a very flexible person from when I took dance however when I put on 60, 70, 80 pounds of weight I stop dancing. And I am now getting back into my yoga and breaking down these poses is motivating for me, so that I don't get intimidated and back away from trying the harder poses as I've done in the past.
The trick with most of these poses is to realize they're not so much about strength as they are about balance. Standing crow seems super hard, but once you find the right balancing spot, it's really easy! You definitely don't have to be very strong to do them.
Contrary to what it looks like, the muscles that hold crow pose are hip flexors, core, and back. Her legs look almost weightless on the back of her arms since she's lifting up A LOT in her hips, core, and back. The arms are engaged only for balance. Crow pose it HARD, and I fell on my face more times than I can count! It is good to laugh at yourself because that's what I did and then got up and kept trying :).
I like it how she shows it effortlessly but lowkey tells you that there’s a lot of things happening in every movement just to creat the pose with her calm voice
There are so many wonderful yoga teachers and amazing yoga videos on RUclips available now It's fantastic to see Yoga available to people worldwide with a click of a mouse. Tara is a spectacular teacher. I love the way she explains things very clear, simple, concise instructions and practical application, her demonstration is beautiful and easy to follow. Thank you Tara for helping me to become a better yogi and hopefully a more effective instructor.
She doesn't explains and too concise....I've achieved head stands and crow poses because of better explanations from other websites. She goes straight to the pose and does not break it down..
Yoga postures and breath control has been of immense help to keep the body joints flexible and strong as per my personal experience..It helps my psyche in concentrating reducing stress. It has been good to my heart and liver..I think it adds to my immunity factor.in fighting common ailments .Besides it can be easily expanded or contracted to fit in all types of lifestyles .Thanks for the video showing your body with perfect balance and vigour.
I hope you can now or else, if you ever find yourself dangling over an edge with just your hands holding on the edge and you can't lift yourself up, you're screwed.
Su G Kim It gets better with time, It used to be like that at the beginning, now I hardly get any cus I use now my core to keep myself up, but you just learn that with practice! :D don´t worry
I love this! I am a muscular guy with a wrist that has screws in it and a torn ligament but Tara instruction breaks down poses that at least get me to a point where the pose more be is possible. Tara, Thank you!
this dose look extremely hard but after a few times its actually really easy and surprisingly fun yoga has transformed my flexibility and btw her videos are really good for people who want to go far even for beginners
Your stuff is great!..I want to learn full body control do I cam e to RUclips and found this vid, then tried the tips and found myself doing them..so i went to play store to find a yoga app and there was it..YOGA FOR BEGINNERS..thank you so much..now u have a trainer.
😱.... OMG... 😱 U r too good... I also tried them but I wasn't able to do them. Though I am just 12 but still according to my age I perform my of the good workouts and yoga but when I saw you.... U are just a magic... Keep it up!
I've only been doing the beginner stuff for 3 weeks now. Started with my wrists killing me, now is not so bad anymore. Listen to your body dont over do the wrist strain and within a month you should be better that way :-)
Thank you. I have a cyst in my wrist so i have to do the crow pose on my finger tips! I can do it but only for a couple moments. Just started doing yoga a couple weeks ago. My kundalini rose in 2014 spontaneous and at the time, i had no idea what happned. Felt like a near death experience. Ive made videos on Kundalini. But yoga has many benefits
She is holding herself up on her arms and shoulders: finger and wrist flexors, brachioradialis, triceps, anterior deltoids, lats. Her abs are keeping her balanced, and maintaining her center of gravity over her arms.
I have had wrist surgery a few years ago- I have not done yoga in a few years and I wanted to know if I will ever be able to do crow or any arm balances? What poses can I do to build strength?
Is it possible to set up some kind of reminder to train daily with your videos? Self determination is important and very often at the beggining of my cycles I do forget to be systematic what makes me loose my determination. It would help me a lot to progress😊
This is so cool! I can't believe that after a few short months i can be able to do these poses! Thanks Tara! I really love how you explain everything and inspire me to do more yoga! =)
How is it made easy? You have to be super flexibility for it to be easy, and can't do that overnight. It takes a long time to improve flexibility and muscles enough to do all of this...
I was up to this post before I stop doing my yoga and that was when I was about 45 pounds heavier. Trust me what she's doing is excellent you may have to practice each little arm part several times even several times during the week before you can do the whole complete pose. And it may even take a month or so I'm to be able to do the pose in the entirety depending on flexibility andand how often you're doing yoga throughout the week.
Very typical of people to think they can do these poses right away or with little delay. She does state that you can do these poses with easier variations in the beginning and it's understood OVER TIME be able to develop and do the full poses. Think of it as a lifelong mission rather than short term with practice weekly if not daily and see results over time. Good luck

I could do it at first try because I can do it with my whole body

Envy’s one of the seven deadlys
People are so use to the obesity its a concern when someone looks fit and lean. Something has to be "wrong" 🙄

Yoga
Same
Hahahaha! Nice still
I was told to tuck and roll into a summer salt, if I felt like I was going to face plant. Lol
Marley x 😂
is it weird that when I was younger I did the crow pose when I was bored? Had no idea that it is a move in yoga. The more you know.
That's so cool! I think its like a teddy bear stand
U were probably a yogi in ur last birth😁
Well kids has more flexibility than older people

Lol me to
Oh my gosh!!! I just did crow pose for the first time. It lasted for two seconds, but still. I LOVE this. Thank you
She looks so lean and elegant. Meanwhile I feel ike a wounded elephant.

Elaina P i am still trying but it's not easy 😱😣
Exactly it hurts a lot.I am doing so many other asanas but crow pose is bit tricky I think.I still can't do it😐
Idk bout everyone else but I'm like a mini yoga master for my age

You make it look so easy!!
Is it only looking easy or actually gets easy !?
it is pretty easy tho
Nooo
Yeah I can’t even get the first one

is there yoga for women who weigh more than 115 pounds
I I am a 160 and I still practice but am very muscled up good luck
julia live cover i feel like it'll always be so much easier to conquer for women who have the body of a 16 year old. thank you, namaste
Umm I am 12 if you did not know I'm not 16 you just need enough strength in your abdominal to keep your weight up
julia live cover lmao woops sorry hahaha but yeah
Aha keep trying my friend you will get it one day in your future
Crow pose is my goal! I dont think I can hold myself up, lol...but someday!
felixpuncrocoi you will just practice, practice, practice it was terrible for me the firts time that I tried but now I’m able to do it

So amazingly useful! I've only done yoga a few times and I was able to accomplish these moves! Now with practice I can master them!
wow good for you! I don't have enough strength to support my whole body with my arms in the first 2 poses :(
I like it how she shows it effortlessly but lowkey tells you that there’s a lot of things happening in every movement just to creat the pose with her calm voice
Crow pose is my favorite! It's all about strong arms and core. Work out your core and this is simple!
I can finally do this. Yay!
I'm also slowly transitioning from Bakasana to the tripod headstand.
I'm rather proud of my body and mind :)
Yeah well I tried and fell on my face
+Idaa YouKnow I don't know why, but this made me laugh soooooo hard. It's so true though. I fell on my face too
+Idaa YouKnow im just glad im not the only one :)
