Just to everyone that doesn’t agree with what I did, I went back last night caught a 4lber and saw a sign that read “fishing permitted” so Karen was actually wrong
did you access the pond in a designated area, or just walk in over someone's private property?

I love and respect what you do. However ponds in residential neighborhoods such as this are usually open to residents only. Maintenance and upkeep of the pond and surrounding property are usually paid for by HOA dues. So even though some residents may be ok with you fishing there it's not up to them to give you permission. Most covenants state that even as a guest of a resident, the resident must be present when fishing. As an avid fisherman, I love to seeing young people doing what you do. However there are going to be some bodies of water that you just can't legally fish in. I live in such a community and when I see young kids out there I tell them to fish directly behind my house and I sit on my patio so my neighbors don't harass them.
i appreciate the feedback. It was our understanding that this was a private neighborhood but at the time it was a small risk for a potential big reward so it was worth it. Glad you enjoy the videos 🙌🏻

did you have permission from the landowner to access the property? if not, then you are tresspassing.. did you have permission to fish on all of the ponds? here again, if not you are fishing and tresspassing. having permission on 1 pond does not allow you to fish the others.... the landowner is under no obligation to allow you to access that property. no means no. just because you fished a pond prior does not automatically give you permission to fish it again. learn the laws junior, seek and ask permission from the landowners well ahead of the time you want to fish and also give them a headsup phone call or visit the day, so there is no conflicts. follow all guidelines set down by the landowner pertaining to the access and rules concerning catch and release, slot limits, creel limits etc etc.....when you do find these private honey holes, guard them passionately as they can be so valuable to one's being... and lastly respect the landowner and his rights to the property. don't be the reason for more NO FISHING NO TRESPASSING signs all over the place.
paul m I appreciate the help means a lot but tbh it’s just content I couldn’t care abt whether I’m not allowed to be there or not I’m not going to get in any trouble all they’re gonna do is ask me to leave I’m just trying to fish new spots and learn as much as I can about the sport the point I was making was that my friend and I are just out their to enjoy fishing and have fun. The point is we’re not hurting anyone, injuring or keeping fish, littering, or doing anything to damage or disturb anyone or anything.

paul m nothing makes me immune the fact is that life is short and I’m here to have fun so if there’s a pond that has a big fish That’s my PB I’m going to catch it idc how but I’m going to work towards it even if it means getting kicked out. Again it’s not “how many rules can I break” or “let’s fish this spot because it illegal” it called doing what I love to do so that I can have fun while I’m here
