I don't know why, but his voice seems to take me back to eden.
We know nothing about this man. Not how he learned to sing, why he started the band, what inspired him. We know how his hair and face looked like ten years ago. That's it.

Honestly, I thank whoever hurt this beautiful man….because that pain brought beauty.
That pain inspired some of the most gut wrenching, beautiful lyrics that I will love forever.

God, even before ST his songs were pure gold, I'm stunned. Worship.
And really dark and sad .... I'm really happy to see him coming out of that darkness that seems to have been with him from a very young age. This is just another lil piece of the puzzle that is this beautiful broken soul

honestly, I'm glad I know. with such an emotionally cutting voice and lyrics shrouded in all that mystery, it's nice to see the living, breathing human just like us that's behind all of this. maybe one day in the far future he will do a proper reveal and a deep dive into the making of the music, now that their mission to spread unadulterated art through anonymity was a massive success.

I have a friend who I showed this to and he said: you can see his alter ego already existed, maybe repressed, but good thing he released it because now he's creating something amazing.

Yessss dude. I wish I didn't know also. It was part of the whole essence of sleep token, not knowing who he was. I mean the music is definitely the reason I love them so much but I was disappointed when people figured it out.

His voice is absolutely penetrating to the mind and soul. Constant goosebumps and emotions take over my brain while listening to these works. I cannot get enough. Gemma is amazingly talented and I hope to hear more from her as well.
In the end, it's not our identity that matters, it's what we do with it. We are all just people, stardust, pieces of our ancestors.
The pain she seems to have caused brought all of us so much joy this year....as we worship we must thank her for heart ache she must have caused

I just noticed he’s playing a Gibson Dove! That is a gorgeous vintage acoustic right there…my husband worked at a hotel and someone had left one behind and it had been sitting there for a long time so he was able to take it home..they are worth quite a bit! Also, damn I wish I would have discovered this band when they were active so I could have given them all the praise they deserve! This is exactly the kind of music that takes over my senses and speaks to me on all levels…so beautiful! I hope he’s proud of all he’s accomplished and how far he has come, he is certainly getting the recognition he deserves now! And Gemma’s voice is so beautiful and compliments his so well! 💜

His rythym guitar playing is remarkable. He moves melodies so unexpectedly and effectively. I've really been trying to figure out how to play like that instead of just looping riffs.. My ear just doesn't seem to work the way his does. So creative.
