The skills of these guys. Just great. Spillane is fabulous in particular. It’s unrelenting. Unrelentingly beautiful.

I was at this gig and many more back in the 80s. It was wonderful to see these maestros in their unique zone. No Irish band has ever come close to matching their musicality, their collective ethos, their fearlessness and their genuine love of performance. Long may their sound be loved. Listen to the sax solo in this piece and tell me you were not entranced.

I'm from Chile in South America and here we think the Jazz Music is the most wonderful music ever, but this style is really beautiful like a poem... I would like to have a summer in that interesting countries, places with a celtic life! (English is not my first language)

They played 4 consecutive nights at Vicar St in 2007 in their first gigs in many years, and this is one of them. I was at 1 night (2nd night I think). Not sure whether or not this is that night. Anyway, simply brilliant. The best band ever assembled together in Ireland, imo. Virtually all session musicians in their own right so you're talking top of the food chain, so to speak. Superb musicianship. One of the best, if not the best, gigs I was ever at.

Without any shade of doubt these guys are one of Ireland's top bands -- if not the top band -- definitely my favourite Irish band and by a long shot, at that -- simply stunning musicians individually, they combine and blend into a sublime mix of Trad and Jazz -- seamlessly --

Probably up there with Pink Floyd in terms of theyre powerful in musicianship, and theyre capable of bringing you on a beautiful journey of sweet cadence and melodic often melancholic pieces and passages, stunning .
