I weirdly love this Quick Look and often get nostalgic for it. It perfectly captures that hype and excitement for a new Souls experience. It's also before everyone decided this game wasn't very good, it's so full of hope and wonder!
To 'come a cropper' means to get into trouble, though he's understating there. Pate is played by Peter Serafinowicz who was in Spaced and Sean of the Dead and was the voice of Darth Maul. He's also in Guardians of the Galaxy, he was the 'british guy' in the trailer. He LOVES Demon's Souls and Dark Souls and so this was a dream come true.
I, for once, do NOT hate looking at menus. It's actually nice to see, cuz some menus in games are lacking to say the least. If you make a quick look that's almost an hour and a half long I'd say u'd better include a look at the menu.
I don't understand how they are wrong about everything and so bad at playing. I avoided all pre-release stuff and they saw all of it... Just press Y on bonfires to light torches...
