Garda town is one of the biggest and most popular resort of Lake Garda, located at the southern end of Italy's largest lake. This small gem actually gives its name to Lake Garda and it really is one of the most popular travel destinations in all the travel brochures of Italy for people who want to spend their holidays in an idyllic location.
It is a real pleasure walking on the promenade, which offers great views across to the Sirmione peninsula. If you are the active type of person you can go on a hike up to the top of Rocca di Garda for a splendid view of the southern shore of Lake Garda.
