When the Shield music hit, I was almost expecting a Dean Ambrose appearance

Imagine if wwe and Tony Khan could settle some deal and terms to having work just for this night only. That would be truly groundbreaking compared to having a TNA wrestler appear during royal rumble.

Sometimes I still ask myself that. All I can answer is....the greatest sequence of spots I've EVER seen. Incredible for sure. Maybe even the main event to end ALL main events. 🙂

It made sense. Taker and Cena have both faced and lost to Roman so they helped against the bloodline (mainly Rock and Solo).
Look at Cole (black suit, white tie); I haven't seen this. He is PUMPED and emotional, he knew this one meant everything.

He is literally the voice of WWE! I love how excited he gets

I was in the crowd for WrestleMania 40 Saturday and Sunday and when Cody won The Match and the title I Pop like everyone in the stadium when Cody won the title I didn’t cry but I add Emotion. I’m so happy for him he deserve this really.
I was there as well the pop was loud there were boos for Cody.

It was such an unexpected moment for us all SCSA was supposed to show up but wanted so much money to appear but I loved when undertaker showed up 😢
Everyone in the crowd is pumped and ready for Cody to win yet everyone still does Roman's ooh aah on the last spear. Roman finally got that love he was always seeking during this reign.

It's gonna be hard to top this one. Very few events have people this pumped and excited and still talking about it 5 days later! It has brought ppl who stopped watching wrestling back! My daughters and i were jumping around and yelling, I teared up, lol. Absolutely great event!

My favorite WM is 17. & it’s because as a child I was fortunate to witness it live in my hometown Houston. & it was one of the greatest rivalries between The Rock 🆚 Stone Cold. So when I hear my childhood favorite has returned to WWE I had to tune in. & I’m so happy I did. WM40 is def my #2.
I was about to call it a day. This stopped all of that!

I was there for Manias 28, 29 & 30 & got to experience YesMania for Daniel Bryan win & Taker losing the streak, this is up there with those 2 moments.

The real reason for Roman's defeat is Seth Rollins and he did not get any credit because of that, Roman forgot Cody and started remembering The Shield's betrayal and his focus shifted from Cody and this is where Seth wanted Seth to be Cody's real 'SHIELD' ✅😭♥️

I wouldn't say the best 10 minutes in history but definitely the best ten minutes of wrestlemania 40. The rest was so-so.

Haha yes! We were up in 200s first night and on club second night. We missed out on tickets when they first came out as we were in the middle of sorting out visas for our big move to the US and didn’t want to get tickets and then not end up moving lol so paid too much for seats further away but next year, I’m getting on for pre sale and buying better seats!

I loved this. I think the only logical reason, outside other obligations or health issues, that Stone Cold wasn't here is because he is the only guy that might have legitimately overshadowed Cody's moment.

That's exactly what I said to my brother. An Austin return then would have been "too big" and taken away from Cody's win. When Rock returns after filming his next movie and goes for a stint at the title, Austin will be back!
Honestly we seen sequences like this on raw and sd .. the only difference is the outcome lead to the end of Roman’s reign!

Haha yes! My husband was recording it whilst I was freaking out. I got back into WWE during the pandemic after watching the documentary about the Undertaker and have always wanted to be at an event when he comes out!

its nice BUTTTT, I don't think you can do stuff like this every year. For example, you cannot have Cody Roads kick out of 10 finishers and with10 interferences. The best way to go is to just book a solid clean match

For WM? It depends where you sat and when you booked but generally tickets for both nights ranged from $200-$800 but of course there are plenty over $1000 if you wanted floor seating

Why does everybody skip the roman hitting seth with the chair from the back scene? It proved to be Roman's downfall, he chose to get revenge on Rollins for the shield betrayal instead of hitting Cody with it.
agree. this little detail was so well thought out. Everything that happened during the last 10 minutes was so well written. Cena's presence, taker's presence, Rollins appearing in shield attire and taking the chair shot instead of Cody, to the last part where Sami, Kevin Owens, Jey, Orton, Cena, LA Knight (all of them Roman's past opponents) celebrated with Cody....It really wrapped up the whole chapter well.
We loved that moment for sure!
