Grand Cayman Island on a Scooter.

- I made this video of our stop over on the Grand Cayman Island. We had a few hours off the cruise ship and decided to rent a scooter and cruise around. Here is a bit of our scooter trip, some snorkeling, a delicious restaurant we experienced and even a stop in Hell!
My niece lives here and works a swimming instructor and all things water related. Excellent location!
That's awesome. It's beautiful there, she's lucky. I'm sure she worked very hard to get there though, good for her.

Definitely need to stay a couple days to enjoy all the beuty of the islan. We were on a cruise so we only had a little bit.

Some people will warn that it is dangerous to drive a scooter there. I thought it was safe though.
Just take your time and remember which side of the street you need to be on.
I would suggest wearing lighter color clothing that covers the skin well. Something like a thin white long sleeve shirt. Or perhaps a nice light dress with something light to cover your shoulders.

Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for watching! I am not sure what type it was to tell you the truth. It is packed in my luggage as I am currently traveling. If I remember, I will check when I unpack.
Grand Cayman is beautiful,but I doubt I'll be renting a scooter since it will take me awhile to learn how to drive on the wrong side of the road! 😜
No doubt, I thought for sure I would crash! I definitely pulled out on the wrong side a couple times, thankfully I quickly corrected my mistake!

Going to grand cayman next summer on a cruise and we also only have a few hours on the island and would like to scooter around. Do you remember the name of the place you rented the scooters or what beach you were at? How did you have a lounge chair at the beach? Didn’t seem like an area that would rent chairs. Thanks!
I had to do some research, It's been a minute. We rented the scooters from Cayman Coffee Club. This was just near the port where the cruise ships disembark. I believe it was $40 a day and I provided U.S. license and signed a waiver, I belive.
The beach would have most likely been Seven Mile Beach, I'm not quite though. I wasn't able to locate the exact spot on google maps when I just searched. We were very near a beach club that offered drinks and other amenities. The chairs were just there on the beach near us and they did not seem to mind us using them.

I didn't even realize that there were grapes there... crazy. I was just checking out the chicks. I just googled sea grapes.

Thanks for watching as well. I know for sure I used my GoPro hero 4 Silver. I would have also used either My Note 2 or Note 5. I can't remember which I had at the time to tell the truth.

Hello, thanks for watching, I couldn't pin point the exact location unfortunately. It was on the Seven Mile Beach stretch. Very beautiful locations there!
What all did you need to rent a scooter? Drivers license?
Josh P If I remember correctly we paid the fee, signed a waiver and we had to present our driver's license and or passport.
