If you lived through the 90 as a motor head you didn't forget because it was just yesterday.
Lmao! Too true.. wasn’t that like last year??
90 zxtt 300 nissan 300 zx twin turbo best ever until supra jumped in in mid 90s but z looked 1000% better
Every time you do one of these I'm like thinking "who forgot them?". I certainly didn't.
Fr
Lol
I have a 93 Stealth RT. Lv it
Dont forget the ford probe which was really a mazda. I had a 93 it was a 6 speed manual. I loved that car until my friend got drunk and crashed into it while it was parked outside his house 😢 it was completely wrecked but it still drove. I ended up having to donate it. I remember all these cars i wanted an eagle talon.
You shoulda had a come-to-Jesus moment (read: sl-pped the SHIZNIT outta him) for that.
I had a 94 probe as my first car and it was awesome
I think the Beretta GTZ is one of the best looking cars GM has ever made. I always like the Beretta but the GTZ was sick. Don't see many around anymore.
Remember the pace car one it was extremely nice looking
I always thought the Mitsubishi 3000 was the better looking of the two
You are 100% correct!
Your comparison of The Eagle Talon TSI vs The Mustang 5.0, struck a chord with me...
I owned a '90 Mustang LX 5.0 5spd, and got into a stoplight drag race, with an Eagle salesman from a local dealership, driving a Talon TSI...
THAT CAR LAUNCHED HARD!!!!
By the time we blew through the first stoplight, it was dead even!!
By the 2nd stoplight, we were both hard on the brakes, and stopped just in time!! A couple of thumbs up, and we parted ways...
I NEVER MESSED WITH ANOTHER TALON TSI AFTER THAT!!!!
What about the sho?
The SHO was a sedan, not a coupe
9:39 it's a supercharged engine. Not a turbo one. But other than that nice list. Had a heavily modded 96 riviera L67. One of the most comfortable cars I've ever owned.
The Stealth and 3000GT are starting to climb in price, just saw a beautiful final year '99 VR4 just sell for $62k
The MKVIII was a beast.
Without a doubt.
I had 90,96,and 98 awd turbo eagle talons. My 90 was my favorite car I’ve ever owned.
I had a 90, 91 Tsi they were fun but constantly broke down they were nightmare to own.
@@daryl9799 hmm. My 90 was awd. Around 380hp with the mods I had and when I got rid of it it had like 177,000 miles. Never had an issue. And I beat the hell out of it. 7000rpm and rip my foot if the clutch several times a day. Maybe that’s why it was my favorite car. My other 2 were show cars. Barely drove them. Less than 2500 miles each.
Still own my 93' 3000gt vr-4. Amazing what some bolt on upgrades, beefed cooling system, and bigger fuel injectors, does for this over-engineered legend.
In high school I drove a 1987 Chrysler Laser..went into the army and was stationed in Germany and bought a 1991 Pewter Mist Eagle Talon TSI. It was so much fun on the autobahn. Shipped it back to the states..got married and traded it in on a Honda Accord EX on our way to Alaska. Oh how I missed that car. Didn’t know what I had back then. 😂😂😂😂
Ford Probe: so forgotten, even the ‘most forgotten’ video forgot about it.
Had a 93 Eagle Talon TSi and it was fantastic.
Can’t believe you forgot to mention the Ford Probe and Dodge Daytona IROC
The eagle Talon first came out in 86 and I'd tried not to drive it because I'd just got my license at 16 and was worried I'd crash the 5 speed into the wash.bay wall of the detail booth lol 🤣🐺
The only car in that entire list that's really worth mentioning is definitely the Mark 8 Lincoln. Mustang Cobra in a tuxedo
Eagle talon isn’t forgotten. There is lots of them around. They have the Evo motor and basically the same drivetrain so very incredibly tough there’s a bunch of them on RUclips and a bunch of them at the tracks on the weekends
I last watched you in 2020, i have subbed to you for a long time but i forgot about your channel. Now four years later im here. I was one of your OG subscribers!
I’m sad the 94-97 Ford Thunderbird didn’t make it. I have the 4.6 V8 and they have the SC as well.
Number 3 eagle talon tsi was a rebadged Plymouth laser. Or the reverse which should have been mentioned I think.
The Talon and Laser were both rebadged Mitsubishi Eclipses
Always liked the way the Stealth looked. Shame it didn't capture the imagination of its intended marketplace.
I had a manual olive green dodge avenger. Loved it. Wheel bearings would mess up every year lol. But it was ok
.made it to 165k miles.before the motor blew
The stealth is the most amazing one that disappeared to me because back in the day they were everywhere, fox body mustangs and stealth we’re at every stoplight it was ridiculous and then 10 years later you couldn’t find one anywhere
Sorry but the dodges were all mitsubishi based not american by any means but name.
This is most entertaining I ever watch so far pd evolution
0:47 - If you're going to say "badge engineering," then say the Dodge had distinct styling from the 3000GT, then you don't know what "badge engineering" is. The DSM cars you mentioned, which were different by badges and little else, were badge engineered cars.
The Mercury Cougar XR7 was supercharged, not turbocharged.
You should have added the 1991 Dodge RT/ It would out run many 1991 Mustangs with the 5.0. It only came with a 5 speed an with a turbo. had a 2.2
The Avenger wasn't a DSM car. 😂😂😂😂
The cougar is my favorit
when did the dodge avenger have appeal lol
First gen talon ❤❤❤❤
Where's the Ford Probe?
The eagle talon and the Dodge stealth were not really American products. They are all Mitsubishis.
Omg buckshot sounds better.
4:52- "contemporary" and "polarizing" can't be used to describe the same car.
The late gen Stealth had 360hp. And was a Chrysler Dinisty engine with twin turbo.
We not missing not a single one of them
**** you
Pontiac grand prix should be on this list!!!!!!!
I still have my 91 talon tsi
Never forget the feeling of driving the turbo stealth when they Came out. What a feeling
Hi please make video on ram 1500 evolution and make the video soon as possible
The Eagle Talon Tsi awd is a legend. I had mine for 20 years. My first encounter with one was embarrassing. I owned a 92 Mustang GT I pulled up next to a Talon Tsi at a stop light. The kid revved it and I laughed and ignored it. He did it again and I nodded to him. When the light turned green he walked me. I was pissed. I had to test drive one. So I went to the Mitsubishi dealership to test drive an Eclipse GSX. They wouldn't trade my Mustang GT. So I sold the GT privately and bought the Eagle version as it was more upscale than the Eclipse. I had a love/hate relationship with it for twenty years lol but man! Was it one fast car and that awd was a diffence maker off the line. No burnout machine like the Mustang just rip and grip.
3000 GT over the Stealth for me personally. Didnt matter cause I had a 98 WS6. Only cars I lost to were C5s and the occasional Cobra. Anything else was BBQ chicken.
6:26 - "made way for its successor"? All Chrysler did was change the name. The Stratus coupe was still built on Eclipse bones.
Have you discussed cars before?
the dodge avenger coupe was a sharp looking car- 5:26...especially in that grey
Oh man these were the cars I would dream of at the time. I had just started driving when these were on the road.
NORTHSTAR WAS FAST BUT IT WAS 🗑️
My moms first car was a avenger
God!!! 90s cars sucked!!!!
The Ford Probe should be on this list, back in my college days EVERYONE wanted that car! Also as a honorable mention - the Buick Grand National, though it ended in the late 80’s, GNX’s were ripping it up all through the 90’s!
This list invalidated itself for using the title of sport anything to describe Front-WRONG-Wheel-Drive mistakes. Which doesn't include the two Ford products. Signed-Richard.
I literally have a 96 Riviera and a 96 mercury cougar but my cougar has the V8.
They're both very fun and plush to drive
I still own 1 car featured in that video , my second one of that model actually :)
