    When you baptize with water, you do it in the name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit…Water
    When you anoint your house with oil you ask Yahweh to bless the oil…OIL or
    Use oil to transfer, anointing, or pray over the sick you do it in the name of Yeshua …
    My question is, is it not the same with salt? I never knew about salt until a year ago and I feel like the Holy Spirit. brought these things to my attention because of some things out I was battling in my home. Not to be used outside of Him but in same manner as water, salt and oil. I’ve still been praying about it and would like your opinion on what I’ve said about the others as well water,oil and salt

    • @wordupwithgloria7563
      @wordupwithgloria7563  8 месяцев назад +19

      For there are three that testify: The SPIRIT and the WATER and the BLOOD and these three agree.1 John 5:7-8
      1. Significance of Water in Baptism: Being submerged in the water represents death to sin, and emerging from the water represents the cleansed, holy life that follows salvation. Jesus commanded his disciples Just before His ascension, to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
      2. Significance of oil: Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the PRAYER OF FAITH will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up".....James 5 -14:15
      3. The Spirit is our 3rd witness that we need to guide, teach, reveal truth and comfort us. Please read up more on this in the bible
      So, Jesus commanded all believers to be Baptised. also that sick believers should be prayed for and annointed with oil.Please note that the it's the prayer of faith that heals not the oli. The oil here was for consecration and cleansing.
      However in regards to salt, Jesus said " You are the salt of the earth... Mathew 5:13-16
      In conclusion, we need the water baptism, the anointing with the oil, but DO NOT need the salt, because we ourselves are the salt.
      As new testament believers in Jesus Christ we are under the new covenant of his blood, born of the spirit and baptised in water.

      @@wordupwithgloria7563 Thanks for your response😇I will continue to seek the heart of Yahweh concerning these questions. I’m familiar with the scriptures you have given as well. Also I know Yahweh doesn’t need the water nor the oil nor the salt. The oil is a Physical representation of his healing power, and the water is a physical representation of his gift of the Holy Spirit and a witness to the decision that we’ve made in him but he does not need any of them. The name of Yashua is enough. Who knows why he had Naaman dip himself in the dirtiest (water) to be cleaned and healed or in John why he spit on the ground and mixed it into a (mud) to put on the eyes of a man ect. I guess what I’m saying saying is he doesn’t need any of those things…. mud, dirty water from Jordan river, salt,water or oil but these were all things either He said directly or instructed someone to do when they prayed to him. We must not make idols of anything. Not even the baptismal water not the oils not the salt not any of it. Thanks again and forgive me if my questioning or reasoning isn’t welcomed. I’m sure it is you seem like a wonderful person.

    True, we should pray in the Name of Jesus Christ. Now, if I take salt or water, and pray over these in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and declare IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, will that make it still unbiblical? Scripture said if we ask ANYTHING in the Name of the Lord and believe, it shall be done for us. No wonder people get positive results and are testifying because they use water and salt to pray in the Name of Jesus Christ. God is the same yesterday, today and forever, he is still the same God who answered the prayers of the prophet who used salt to declare healing on the water and mind you, back then the Name Jesus Christ was not yet revealed. All this are possible for those who believe. God bless you 🙏

    • @wordupwithgloria7563
      @wordupwithgloria7563  7 месяцев назад +4

      But the question is, why do you want to use salt? Is the name of Jesus not enough?
      1. If you enter a salt covenant, you have to live by that covenant, which means you can not own any possessions on earth. The salt covenant was for levites and priests .
      2. You also have to remember that salt Covenant is not a New Testament prescription. The only Covenant we have as Christians is the one of Jesus blood 🩸
      3. Salt was only used once to heal anything by the Prophet Elijah, and it was to cleanse the water. He never used it on a person.
      4. Jesus said we are the salt of the earth. You don’t need to add any salt on your self to pray. You already represent salt in the earth.
      I hope this helps. God bless you .

      @@wordupwithgloria7563So ma'am since Elijah put salt in the water to make it better if we should not use it in water for favor n blessings why do use anointing oil or handkerchiefs for healing n why do people take communion when needed for sanctification n purification? What is wrong with praying over water in Jesus name?

    • @wordupwithgloria7563
      @wordupwithgloria7563  3 месяца назад +1

      @@PatriciaHarris-rz5og Elijah prayed for the water, but never used the salt on himself or anyone. He did it as a one time thing, not everytime.
      About Anointing oil, The bible in the book of James command for the sick to be prayed for and anointed with oil. Handkerchiefs were used as a point of contact for people who were not present in the place of prayer. There is no problem praying for clothes and handkerchiefs. If you are sick you can use salt to heal or treat or disinfect a wound or sore throats or as drink to hydrate and balance electrolytes.
      Communion is not taken for santification or purification, its taken in rememberance of christ and his sacrifice. Jesus himself commanded us to take communion in rememberance of his body and blood shed on the cross, but no where does the bible command us or even suggest to pray with salt or water. Salt is good but it shoud not be used ritualistically.

      @@wordupwithgloria7563 She has not turned it into idol, read it well, she prays in the Name of Jesus to God. The salt is just a tool, it doesn't replace God. The testimony says she is blessed. Many Christians are fighting monitoring Spirits day and night.
      Physically if you see cockroaches🪳 and they keep multiplying, you may not drive them out with the name of Jesus. You will get an insecticide and spray them. That is not witchcraft.
      The same way, salt water can be used as a spiritual insecticide to spray evil Spirits.
      You can however turn salt water into spiritual insecticide only after you pray over it in the name of Jesus. It is the name of Jesus that makes it potent. Otherwise it's just ordinary salt you use to cook..

      The world of the spirit is vast. The thing is dominion was given to us as Christians but the witches, wizards and all of them have mastered the realm of the spirit more than us. Yet it has been given to us.
      I am not defending anything but wish we knew that nothing shall snatch us out of His hand.
      If something is done in the name of Jesus it means it has God's backing.
      Witches and them call on their altars when performing rituals. And our altar is Christ. It goes to show how powerless the devil is if things are literally going to change in someone's life by just praying in the Name of Jesus and while using that same salt. Not unless we are afraid we will be snatched out of His powerful hand. We give them too much credit.
      Let's be led by the spirit of God and witness the great power of our God.

    I just have one question! Does it mean people using salt and water to pray according to their faith and bath it are not using the name of Jesus? I asked because I have used salt and water,prayed for something and with my faith in God through Jesus Christ...I received a miracle!!
    What about the olive oil being used as a medium,is it also being replaced?
    Because we use the oil too to pray and declare through Jesus Christ and we get answers... kindly make me understand!!

      The bible does tell us in the book of James that the sick should seek for prayers from the church Elders. The bible instructs them to use the oil to anoint the sick. But nowhere does the bible recommend using salt as a medium of prayer. The prophet Elisha used salt to heal the waters,and that was a one off. Question, Would you make a brazen snake to get healing, because Moses did so for the Israelites in the wilderness?

    The Apostle Paul said "One person's faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean." For anyone who is opposed to praying with salt that's fine. Don't do it. That doesn't mean it's wrong though. It just means it's not for you. Just like eating pork and all types of meat and foods, I believe it boils down to your level of faith and your perception. Something to think about.

Now, salt is natural thing and was created by God, how does it then becomes an occult. We use so many artificial things that are not from God e. g is the makeup natural or does God allow it? All I am saying is, please do not be selective.

    It's true that our Lord Jesus instructed us to pray in his Name and everything shall be given.
    However, I still look at the bible in its totality and reference on the old Testament. E.g. David facing Goliath pick stones and prayed on them. It worked, Elisha used salt and new vessel to heal the water, why he had to specially asked for new vessel and salt. Why didn't speak to the water and get healed?! Why Elia instructed leper Commander to tip into the river water?! He had the power to speak and could happen. At wedding Jesus asked to fill out the wine Jars with water.... Physically filling- he could have spoken a word and the Jars could be filled up.... Etc. My point let's accept revelations since the spirit of God is working on helping us out devil's torments.
    Something to watch is that individual revelations should not be common practice.

      you have to follow your what works for you, pray to God to guide you because you will never get a real good answer from a fellow human . As long as it was used in the bible then it should be fine. The problem is that everyone has their own opinion when it comes to the bible and they want you to go with their beliefs. The bible is a very interesting book only those that are wise and awake are able to understand the bible. Pray about it and God will reveal it to you if it's okay or not to use salt.

    I have a question about salt. Our congregation has complete faith in Jesus Christ and we brought salt to the mountaintop of a new area where we are going to be working for the kingdom of God. We prayed over the town and City. Now our faith is in Jesus, no doubt but we brought the salt along to do something prophetic. Don't rely on the salt but instead do it prophetically in the name of Jesus Christ. What's your opinion on this? We don't rely on the salt, but we did it biblically and use the name of the Lord Christ. Reason I'm asking is because I'm new a new Christian.

    • @wordupwithgloria7563
      @wordupwithgloria7563  4 месяца назад

      The only question I would ask is, what was the role of the salt in that prayer? What were you trying to achieve with it? Salt was used back in the Old Testament because they did not have Jesus then. We (Christians) are now under the new covenant. Me personally, I would not use any add on to prayer if my faith is in christ and christ alone. The name of Jesus alone is sufficient. Hope this answers your question. Blessings 🙏🏾

    Very good video. Those waterbottle rituals you were talking about are such big nonsense! I have one question though that makes me very confused about this topic. James 5:14 tells the sick to go to the elders of the church so they can pray and anoint with oil.
    Why would using oil be okay. But using salt not? What is the difference in using oil instead of salt during the prayer of the church elders?

    • @wordupwithgloria7563
      @wordupwithgloria7563  9 месяцев назад +3

      Using oil is okay because the bible recommends it, like you said in the book of James. However, nowhere does the bible recommend praying with salt or using salt as a medium. Elisha used the salt to heal the waters, but it was a one off, just like Moses made the bronze snake in the wilderness, so that the people bitten by snakes could look at it and be healed. We can’t make bronze snakes just because Moses did. Somethings were a one off and we shouldn’t try to replicate them.

      Are we really to make out of any particular revelation or event in the Bible a 'practice' doctrine!? Of course Elisha used salt to do a miracle, to 'heal' the water, but does it mean we have to use it too for the purpose of a 'spiritual cleansing", without an and express and precise order from the Lord?
      It's like trying to heal a blind's eye with mud just because the Lord did it Himself in the Bible, without Him telling you expressly to do it?
      How can 'phyical' items have spiritual impact, if the Lord doesn't tell you to use them for that particuar purpose?!
      Don't let us act on the principle of 'presumption' concerning spiritual things like saying:" if people could have been healed by Paul's handkerchief, so it must work for me too". NO !!! Those were miracles!!!
      And if f God wanted to do a miracle for you, don't try to impose it unto Him.
      Just ask for what you want and let Him show you the way He wants to do it, may it be concerning 'salt' or 'oil', or 'water' or anything else
      Let's be careful. Shalom
