You can do this! Looks complicated but once you get to understand the process you’ll find it easy 😊
You don't really need Mac for this, you can use Windows PC :)

Hi there! First of all, I want to thank you so much for this complete tutorial. I find this very helpful and really well-made! I actually have a doubt, when I apply the texture for my "Makeup", the colour on my face because of the material (Face Paint) won't disappear. How do I do so I can remove the grey on my face and make the Texture be there?
Same here, you can decrease the face mesh opacity to 1% it will be disapear
Thank You for this tutorial, I uploaded a picture on facebook wearing a make up and my friend said that my make up looks like an IG Filter and suggested if I can make one for that look, so I am learning doing an IG filter for them so they can try it on. I'll do this later after studying.

I did the mesh makeup thing on paint, and it worked, looked super cute! But got stuck with those lines from mesh and i do not know how to fix it...never used photoshop, i guess i'll have to learn that too haha
Aww thank you!! I’m so happy that most people who watched my video really made their filters successfully! And yes, photoshop has layers that you can delete or hide for the lines. You can do it! It’s easy actually if you really practice it. 😊

Spark AR on phones are just app for trying the filter. Not for editing, unfortunately. You have to edit them on laptop or desktop 😔

great video!!! thank you. But I'm stuck in the second face mesh. After adding the texture, the texture and the face mesh appear at the same time!! How can I solve this? Please help!
Not sure what really happened there. Maybe you missed a step or something? Maybe you can try it again from the start. Make sure you follow every step I made in this video. :)
Thu Giang Hey! I was facing the same issue. Just check if the texture has a transparent background, that’s what was going wrong for me. Hope this helps! :)
Make sure to delete or hide the layer of the face asset you used during your editing in photoshop. Background should be transparent so when you transfer to spark AR only the colors or object will show up 😊

Hi Kath, for the 2nd mesh I was using a png with a transparent face mesh having only the objects. Still the filter comes up with the mesh. Please help...
Did you delete the layer of the face reference asset before saving the file to png?

Hey! When I add my design to my face the mesh layer and red dots still shows, how do I get rid of that? I’ve exported everything as a png

Delete or hide the layer of the mesh layer before exporting to png. That way it’s not gonna show up. ☺️

It’s optional. 😊 there’s a real-time simulator in Spark AR that you can use 😊
im having an issue. when I put the png makeup file on, the color shows but it keeps the face grey. Then when I made the png file transparent you could see the persons skin tone, but the makeup was grey. what do I do? :(

You have to edit on your laptop/computer. Your mobile is just for testing or viewing the effect you made.
Hello Sister, I'm stuck in the photo editing part
Hi! Have you tried editing in photoshop before? If yes, use the face assets as your guide in editing. Paint the makeup using basic brushes only. Then remove the layer of face assets to make it transparent and export to png. If you haven’t tried photoshop yet, you can check basic tutorials on youtube since it’s really just the basic brush tool you’ll be using for the editing. If this is still complicated for you, you can search any transparent object that you want to use in google. Copy and paste the object on the face asset in photo shop and place it to where you want them to be. Make sure to remove the layer of the face asset before exporting to png. Hope this helps. 😊

so for new texture, we need to have our design in png? just a png with approx measurements would work?
It has to be png always. Make sure the background is transparent as well. Face reference assets will help you with the correct measurements. 😊
@@KathleneFiguracion ohh yes..i did today..i made two filters of florals..let see if they approve..but it was fun and your video and other youtube video helped me alot .though now it looks a simple process..but still the face mash is approx ..we can't get exact measures..but it was just amazinggg..i so enjoyed the process♥️
