Nice painting, the pink🌞
Thanks for another top notch video. The camera work, editing and sound track are perfect. We are camping at Bonnecherre Sept 20 to 23 and your informative and engaging videos are not only healing and relaxing but also has us quite excited for our own weekend adventure. Thanks again to both of you for all you do.
Lisa, great to hear from you again. Bonnechere has become one of our favourite Provincial Parks. That's great that you will soon be experiencing it later this month - our favourite time to camp. Thanks for your kind comments and hope you have a wonderful camping trip.
Nothing but trees for miles and miles 😊❤ Heavenly……. The best therapy ever ! So glad you ladies had a wonderful time.
The sights and sounds were absolutely incredible. Thank you both for sharing that stunning experience ❤
Take care and have an excellent week ❤🌻
Thank you Tammy. A woman after my own heart with your appreciation too for miles and miles of trees. It is such a beautiful area in our province of Ontario, Canada. Next week's video, Part 2, will provide even more hidden treasures from Bonnechere and near by. Thanks for following our journey Tammy.
There is nothing more humbling than being surrounded by the openness of trees and nature……. so very uplifting and grounding ❤️
Detrimental to the soul and spirit 😊❤️
Can’t wait for your next video, always so beautiful and peaceful.
As always, take care and have an amazing rest of your week ❤️🌻
oh lucky you, a couple of my favourite parks. I agree, dress for the weather and the bugs and its awesome! Looks like you are off to a fun filled summer.
Hi Jean, you might be out on your camping/summer adventures too now. Hope you're enjoying yours. We absolutely loved being at Bonnechere. We have week to go here in Charleston Lake PP. The hiking and kayaking here have been fun! Thanks for watching.
Wow, I’m with you Shannon, this is the most friendly wheelchair park ever, the long wooden trail threw the woods, love it❤️so much green, Tranquil…
Always enjoy the bits about flower names and birds, snakes, but the bugs, that was a great addition, bugs are wildlife too, and they can walk on water☺️, Oh and your camp set is nice🌞🌸🌷, love that double sided spatula..
Claudi, yes, that Spruce Bog Boardwalk in Algonquin is very accessible and few of their trails are since most traverse rocks or difficult grades. But that was such a beautiful trail. I'm delighted that you enjoyed the assortment of wildlife, including my favorite - snakes. Insects are very interesting too, and often quite beautiful. Glad you're enjoying our camping adventures. The next one on Bonnechere is 1 hour and jam-packed. I think you'll love it. Thanks for watching.
I have never been to Bonnechure provincial park before nor have I been to spruce bog boardwalk trail and I am now putting it on my list for sure. Such a wonderful video with so much beautiful scenery and information about the area. Looking forward to part 2.
Thanks for sharing
Hi Susan, So glad you were moved to want to try out Bonnechere and the Spruce Bog Boardwalk Trial in Algonquin. I agree that there's beautiful scenery up that way. And you'd asked about Shannon's art. She only started painting with water colour during last camping season, since it's much easier to transport. She's been an acrylic artist for around 20 years and we have beautiful paintings around our house because of that.
So fun!!!! Thanks to both of you!
Sharon, glad you enjoyed that. Thanks for joining us!
Kathleen 😍
Looking so bonnie in Bonnechere and Algonquin 😍 still feeling sad we weren't able to join you there and missed our chance to come and say hello 😢 the Spruce bog boardwalk looks like such a nice area for a walk as does Beaver meadow 😍 some lovely sightings to be had there I think 😁
We're back home now. Sitting feeling a bit jetlagged and needing an Ontario fix and you've just given me a much needed boost Kathleen 😍
I'm a couple of uploads behind so I'm very much looking forward to joining you on more lovely hikes and camping trips 😍💚 x
What a great video. Those 28 minutes flew by. So, so good. The music was perfect! Nice artwork Shannon did and the nature sights and sounds were wonderful :)
Richard, always a delight to hear your kind comments. Shannon enjoyed hearing your kind words about her art and music choices. There was so much beauty in Bonnechere. Next video, Part 2, is an hour long...so get ready for that next Tuesday. Thanks so much for watching.
What a treat to come home from a day of work and remember that it's Tuesday...Kathleen Day! Just wondering how you and Shannon were bitten, given your wonderful bug shirts. Thanks a lot for sharing your adventures...and the shot of you two holding hands was simply adorable!
Loved your final comment Susan. We don't film a lot of our personal connection so that was lovely to read. So about the many blackfly bites we receive, often we get them when doing chores or quick walks to/from the trailer or truck and don't "bother" bundling up in our bug shirts. We really have no idea we've been "mobbed" by them until...well, when the lumps appear and are itchy. Delighted to hear you enjoy coming home to your "Tuesday Kathleen fix". Thanks for watching.
Lol what looking for blood to feed their babies, ummm when is the best time to venture here, and yes I will buy a Net hat for mosquitoes,
For sure, buy those bug nets...I carry one at all times on my camera belt, just in case I misjudge the buggyness until I'm out there! As for the best time to hike to avoid bugs, typically in the fall, after the first frost, when it's still warm. Frost kills off many flying bugs.
Kathleen 😍

John, great to hear from you. Good to know that you and Michelle made it home safely. And we are disappointed we didn't get to meet you two in-person but certainly understand why. Send me an update by email about your friend when there's news to share. It's great that you had such an exciting time of exploration while visiting Ontario! I'm glad you're right back here with us (viewing on RUclips) during the camping season as we are now entering our last week in Charleston Lake Provincial Park. Will you be posting videos of the wildlife seen during your visit, on your RUclips Channel? Thanks, as always for your support.
