For me, he should’ve came with the claw hands and chainsaw that we saw in Trailer 2. At least come with 1 extra weapon. Maybe even the whip if they know how to do one.
Unlike some of the comic elitists in both the comments and on the Internet that keep nagging about the same old annoying word "generic" since I hated it when they say that about everything, I like Carapax in the Blue Beetle movie cuz' he gives me Mecha vibes lol.
With the increase of some of the weird stuff coming out of McFartlane's hole, this one shouldn't be a 39$ version. Just take a look at the Frankenstein. ❤😂😂😛
I’m not familiar with him and blue beetle. Maybe this character has weapons in his suit so doesn’t come with an accessory. This is a brand new sculpt and won’t have much reuse to be used again.
Questionable articulation and hard to balance (stand / pose)... McFarlane trademarks. Always love the way the figs look then shake my head when I take them out of the package and try to do much of anything with them, even just keep them standing.
Kinda sucks he doesn’t come with a lot and the joints are a bit disappointing. Especially compared to the blue beetle ones which have a bunch of different weapons and stuff. Was hoping to get him as well to pair with beetle for like a fight but might just stick with getting them and wait it out for carapax
Won’t lie, I hate the design for this character, they’ve taken a cool looking robot alien and made him just look like someone from that power rangers reboot nobody watched. Just a really generic and flat design, there nothing unique about it, and then you go look at how he looks in the comics and wonder why they didn’t just do that 🤷♂️
Comments like that sums up why the only comics I'd ever read for now on are only Manga and the comics from TMNT,Transformers,LEGO (*Bionicle and Hero Factory etc.), and Hellboy etc. lmao.

This figure was an impulse buy for me I don’t not regret it he’s massive compared to my marvel legends and scales in well as a villain for them

It’s true, they can be a total pain. Once you get them standing they look pretty cool standing there 😂

He’s not a bad figure but he feels a bit incomplete and too expensive. If you see him on a good discount, then go for it.

That’s a fair take. There is something quite generic about the design, when it could have been brash and bold and exaggerated.
