That flex tail pump is actually pretty good… will only do two medium PSI fills of a bigger tire but on thinner tires, it gets them decently filled a couple times.
I always thought it would take years before anybody bothered policing destricting, sadly or not depending on your view, here in East London the crackdown has been enormous these past couple of weeks, my local Deliveroo fleet has been reduced from hundreds down to tens with confiscations. I'm just wondering if this is going to be a short lived purge or set to be extend to other areas.
The police in my region are total Jobs Worth traffic warden nazi authoritarians (it's a low crime area, so the police have nothing to do), so any excuse to inflict their power onto a civilian and they will. The law of "250 watt restricted to 15 miles per hour" is different from 250 watt with 36 volt battery that can do 20-to-22 miles per hour. I won't risk it as the police ARE nazi authoritarian JobsWorth traffic wardens that adore oppressing and inflicting their power onto civilians (otherwise they wouldn't do their unpleasant job)
I've seen another review on this bike and it went 30mph... So not very consistent... Was considering purchasing one but the tyres are far too slim for commuting.. OK for the summer but no good for winter.
yes, speed unlocked, riding flat out on a slight down hill section I got it up to 26 mph riding hard. About 20 to 22 on the flat. I think that the other lad probably had the diameter of the wheel setting wrong, indicating a false high speed of 30 mph.
High pressure from a small package is easy... volume + high pressure not so much... that's gonna take ages on a fat bike - but yeah, Flextail make good gear. I've got their inflatable sleeping pad pump; same size as the tyre pump just optimised for volume not pressure. Great review man... Cadence or Torque sensor though?
I like to pedal so i always go back to 250w 36v usually 15ah in a lightweight mtb so approx 43Lbs, some restricted kits fight you when they hit 15mph unrestricted approx 24mph , even with the kits with built in esc in battery holder just cut ✂️ the white wire which loops back into the circuit board 🤠🙏🇬🇧
They are seriously impressive for the money. £4000 for a high end mountain bike with a large 21ah battery and bafang ultra m620 1600w mid-drive Is a bargain. Their bikes do 38mph which is cool.
I ride a maybe not totally legal ebike ( uhm.. lol ) but I can play devils advocate pretty well so here goes -> it's not the speed of the ebike which is the issue, it's the speed difference between mom, dad and the little kids on their pedal bikes and an ebike on the same infrastructure. Amsterdam just started a trail where bikes who ride faster as 20km/h *CAN* ride on the road ( speed limit for cars 30km/h ) instead of the bicycle path. I think it's a step in the right direction, the other step would be changing the legal speed of ebikes to match the restricted road speed limit in urban area's ( 30km/h ). From a safety point of view this just makes the most sense. It's one thing to ride an ebike in light / non existent traffic and go 40mp/h for all I care. If you got a decent ebike with decent tires and brakes you'll be fine ( and if not, you'll crash on your own, not taking someone else with you ). It's the speed difference which makes traffic less predictable for it's users and thus less safe. So in my country where cars in many places have that 30km/h speed limit ( and EVERYWHERE ELSE, there are almost always separate bicycle lanes ) that they would change the ebike restriction to match this speed. Especially since it's a very small difference. I'm not sure about the traffic laws for cars in the UK, or the availability of bicycle infrastructure, but I would hope eventually everywhere politicians will realize slower isn't always safer. And if you want to go faster, well we do have a separate class for 'pedelecs' as we call em, which can go 45km/h legally. But those are by law treated the same as mopeds so -> insurance, helmets and cant go on bicycle only infrastructure just as mopeds aren't allowed there. Which from a traffic safety standpoint makes perfect sense, again because these laws aren't meant to regulate maximum speeds because they want people to be 'slower', they want the speed difference between the fastest user and the slowest user on the same infrastructure to not be to far apart. How did I do for devils advocate?
BEWARE: Heybike doesn’t have a refund policy. Feb. 2024 bought then returned the bike due to quality issue. Now, September 2024, Heybike have not refunded my £1,300. They got the bike back, I comply with the return policy.Yet, they still got my money. Buyer in the UK, look for a bike that have UK seller address. Not this one!🤬😡
Reminds me of Accolmile's 'road ebike', maybe just a tad better specced ( smaller battery, mechanical disk brakes ).. It's out of stock, been for a while but last sold 669 euro's delivered which is I think very good value. Just bought a bike for my daughter there, Tibetan 1S 700C. Bafang m200 mid drive, very entry level but decent, Tektro hydraulic brakes, Shimano Altus, QR wheelset and a Suntour touring fork. Don't think I can find something specced better for less, even without the discount I got on mine. Battery has EVE cells, which granted aren't 'Samsiung' but they are held in pretty high regard. Speed limited to 25km/h, and it's using canbus.. but it's for my daughter so 'unlocking' isn't a requirement anyway. I think their Cola Bear would be a good bike for the channel though, BBS02 750w mid drive with 20AH battery , comes with a 45km/h speed limit from the factory, currently on sale for 1689 euro's shipped. Seem to have stocking issues though, the 29'er hasn't been in stock for some time just the 27.5. Would make a nice review bike, I would love to see it try the famous hill climb ( and perhaps a few jumps since it a full sus mtb with a decent fork.
yup, UK government dont have the balls to arrest and charge and lock up the just stop oil protestors ,so why hassle us just trying to commute to work on a Ebike

It must just be your area. Nobody cares about ebikes here.
Great review the bike looks really good well made with out like you said cables everywhere.

@christopherleigh2090 dyu told me it cannot be unlocked but open to hearing if it can. 30mph seems a lot for a 36v 250w bike but who knows

Wheres the t4 gone i want to see you do a build video of that

Thanks 😊 pretty sure cadence by how it feels ts pas isn't that common
Nice pump , I stick with my fat alloy mtZefal 🤠🙏🇬🇧 ,another stonking vid Dude ,stay cool homey 😎💪
Cadence sensor on this bike.
Thanks to your review mine came today. Can I cut the rear light cable as the basket and mudguard are a HUGE no no lol?
Nice elegant looking e-bike and low weight is a bonus. I take it that it’s a rear hub motor? I couldn’t quite see in the video?
Yes it is 250w rear hub

Shame it’s a cadence sensor not a torque sensor, that’s the thing that lets it down
Good review. Have you heard of frey ebike?
Yes I've heard of them never tried one

My 250w motor does 22/24mph on the flat, might get an upgrade next year 👍🚴🏴
The link to the bike pump isn't working😕
With the speed unlimited and riding fast, it does just over 23 miles.
go and buy a racer, do 30mph all day long, the UK Law is broken and a load of BS

It's Not fair : We only get the choice of 2 Heybikes... While the Yanks get the Full range !
I have a hub kit. Do you need to switch on the battery while charging .
No you don't usually
@@DudeStuff thanks for getting back to me so quick
I'm low on storage space atm mate so picked up a circooter. Not bad , almost hits 30 👍👍
Love your channel, you inspired me to upload on my channel

Had it going at 49.6mph 😲
Blimey!!!. I saw a video where some Welsh guy paired it with a 72v battery and got to 54mph. On a bicycle lol.
