7 seconds too late for first comment haha. Dropping out of trade school, quitting your job, and getting into real estate investing - incredible confidence to take this route! Looking forward to learning more about Damon.

Hello, I've been looking into getting into real estate for about 2 years now. I have no credit right now, I'm 20 now and I want to rent out properties. I work as a marketing consultant right now. But I'm still living paycheck to paycheck. I live in New York and property is pretty expensive. I know you cant tell me what exactly to do but I'm looking for someone to just give me a direction towards renting out properties. Your videos are awesome. Thank you, Hunter

Easiest option is move to a better real estate markets - or be willing to commute/manage from afar. Even within 4 hour drive, there are lots of interesting markets near New York.
AirBnB Rerental (if legal in your state) could be an alternative. Or Renting out house and subletting by the room.
Just some random ideas off the top of my mind.

@@CanadianRealEstateChannel thank you those are some ideas ive considered, I am just saving now for a down payment on a house now. Honestly that's the hardest part for me. And obviously my credit

While you're saving money for down payment, you can go to meet ups and get information from people who are already doing what you want to do. That way, you can start off on the right foot when you're ready!

Hi hunter, you should really be just learning about how to save as much as you can and like Megumi said, find local meet up groups and network with like minded individuals and you will see the power that can have!

Nothing wrong with making 6 figures your whole life. Wether you're working for a paycheck or becoming an investor, you're trading time for money. The difference is how it scales. Traditional job limits your income. Being an investor allows you to grow that income in line with how hard you want to work. It is sad though how many people make 6 figures and have nothing to show for it after 30 years.

So true. Being an entrepreneur should also give you more control with your time and tax saving!

I totally agree with you ken, so many people make x and spend x instead of making x, saving y then spending z.

@Ken Brunet fear of the Unknown. Fear of the one influential twat screwing you over in the eyes of a social circle. I suppose such a concern is best handled by pursuing multiple groups and building up your network to the point that the few influential twats that try to screw you over end up being rounding errors.
