i'm not sure people understand how crazy ridiculous this version is unless they're familiar with the original, which is in itself amazing (and a personal favorite of mine). i felt like this is almost a whole other song. the way you reacted to the runs was EXACTLY how my face was, watching and hearing her version for the first time. so SO good. perfection.

I grew up in the 90’s/00’s idolizing Mary J Blige and Tamia, so this cover of Officially Missing You brought back some fond memories of when my friends and I would hit up the San Francisco r&b/hip hop clubs jamming to the remix of this song. Those were the days! Thanks for reacting to this! 🥰
