I'm really very hurt to hear that happened. Not to trade war stories but a girl I dated when I was younger and continued to be friends with was murdered February of 2012 and in October 2018 a young lady named Danielle who I was madly in love with was also murdered by a guy she was working with. She turned don his advances and she tried to leave and have her father pick her up and this guy ran hr over and left her in a ditch, literally. The saddest part was I was 1/4 mile away and could not sleep so I got up and started raking leaves in my front yard. And I was thinking of calling her because I hadn't talked to her in about 2 weeks, we haven't been together in a few years. But I wanted to check on her and make sure everything was okay and I didn't trust my instincts and I very well could have picked her up and avoided the entire atrocity. He was completely absolved of all charge, it was absolutely disgusting. Aaron has a lot of fans tell him stories about a lot of seriously tragic, life-altering and senseless things that happen and he has told me many times, "I write songs to try and clear the insanity from my head, but the fans talk to me and it's almost like they've done more for me than I have for them. Theyve saved my life in more ways than I can explain." I'm paraphrasing a little but he definitely cares about his fans and I'm sure he would have been proud to have got to play your song for the 2 of you. I know when something like that happens it's impossible to get over and you wonder why God would let something like that happen and I think the answer is from a Bible verse that I cannot remember where it's at in the Bible but it says something to the effect of "one day on Heaven, with the lord, is like a thousand years on Earth." So I think even though we feel like it's an unbearable strain and we can't go on to the person we lost and to God it's only one day and we see them again, do ya get what I'm saying? I believe that is the explanation for the question ppl have "why does God le bad things happen to his children?" That's the only logical explanation I've been able to come up with. Keep your head up, keep a song singing in your ❤️ and remember you're not the only one who hurts, I hurt with you and other people who definitely care about you hurt in the same way from their loses. We need to remember that and step out of ourselves and do what we can to help those who are hurting, addicted, suicidal or just having a difficult time getting through the day. When we do that, I think our burden is lightened and our sprits are lifted. I hope you get to read this and I hope you're happy today, tomorrow and forever 🤘😝🤘 Never let the music die!!!
What this world, not just American is in so desperate need of...., more, Aaron Lewis's, sensible, simply articulate folks that speak the language of the majority! Period! Not puppet shows!
