De Mohrenschildt died not long after, which Oltman assumed was an assassination. Funnily enough, in the 1991 movie JFK about president Kennedy, Oltman played the character of De Mohrenschildt.

(in my family, it ends during my great-grandfather's time). Now during my generation we can only speak one or two, Indonesian and English. Hahaha, time is changing and with it, the language we spoke.
Bc in the past students must used dutch as their main language in the school. They were not allowed to speak Indo Language or other language. My grand parents both can speak dutch as well. They cant speak english, just dutch ...
sorry but this is incorrect. During the colonial period only 2% of the population spoke Dutch because the colonizers kept it as the language of the "elite." So no, the average Indonesian were not allowed to learn Dutch unless they came from a wealthy family and were Dutch-educated (like president Sukarno)

He was the only one who was never invited into the former motherland as a sighn of peace, and our government did all they could to sell it to the public that Soekarno was a crook. As a Dutch guy I think our nation handled very well on Indonesia and Soekarno. We lost the East Indies but didnt cuck like other nations in the aftermath. I dont think our Grandparents were ignorant also. Soekarno may be a strong leader but he is also a colonizer occupying South Maluku for example which had a strong relationship with the Dutch
