Mine was getting a free backroom tour by the technician because I was a big fan of the animatronic show and the history of the location I went to. It was one of the most coolest days of my life!

It now has the dance floor, but If i’m remembering correctly they had a 3 stage (I think) a 2stage then a Studio C Chuck… those were awesome times, I remember I was scared of the walk around, but not the animatronics 😂
So mine was when I went to the location in crystle lake In illinois I was so scared of Chuck E. I was hiding in the corner but now as you can tell Im a really big fan of the rat!
Man I really enjoyed this video; I grew up with Cool Chuck, the current design is definitely a downgrade. I wish the company would go back to Cool Chuck since he is more appealing to the eyes since he has that Disney Mascot type aesthetic.
Oh...my...GOD! I remember this location. all the old footage just gave me so many (Horrifying) memories. Why horrifying? Well...i got a story to tell. It's 2005/2006, the exterior was still the same as the video. 3 year old Autistic me and my family were just wanting to have fun. We were playing games, eating pizza, and enjoying the Studio C animatronic show. I was riding the Flying Balloon ride (where you pedal, and this helicoptor thing would rise you up.) and what do i see just a few feet before me? Mascot Chuck E hi-fiveing a little girl. He was so tall. (well, not as tall as me now. lol). I started screaming as i leaped out of the ride and started to head out the door. i could've sworn i saw Chuck E chasing me (probably not tho.). I nearly made it out of the door, when the Kid Check employee stopped me. At this point, i was bawling. i wanted to leave. So we did. Seeing all this old footage now, gave me those memories. LMAO. i remembered everything seen here.
I remember the Dickson City, PA location back in the mid to late 2000s used to have most of the games mentioned in this video ones that really take me back were Buzzy Buzzy Bee, Wave Rider, and the Soccer game which my location had a Homer Simpson themed one which was removed sometime later on, and my most favorite as you can probably tell was the Sonic Spinner which has sadly been removed when it was remodeled sometime around 2015 or 2016 from my location and no wonder why I don't go there anymore, and two more games that I used to play there before my location was remodeled were Nascar Racing and Nicktoons Racing. I really wish that they had kept Nicktoons Racing since if a 19 year old me went into a Chuck E Cheese it would bring so much nostalgia to me since most of the characters in that game except for Spongebob had thier shows long since cancelled such as The Fairly Odd Parents, Danny Phantom, Invader Zim, and Jimmy Neutron.
Yeah those late 90s and early 2000s chucky was the best. So many good darn memories. The panic attack i always get trying to find my shoes after the ball pit, the big play set was more fun when trying to hide from mom or playing tag. Then the infamous concert which i always loved. I've had and still do a soft spot in my heart for Helen beacuse like many of little girls back in those days. Loved how she sing and looked. Now since i am older and the new 2.0 chucky is taking over for this new gen. I hate it and avoided this place ever since they got rid of the animatronics. Ours we only had chuck and still do. I even get a little sadden each time a child mentions chuck e cheese and how excited they were to go and do the dance floor and dance with chucky. Yeah idk, i think they are digging themselves a whole.
They used to have animatronic characters at mine until about 2019, then ripped it all out, and put in a digital screen with the computer graphic Chuck E Cheese. I miss those animatronics (should have gone sooner, maybe I'd have been able to get a video of them in action the final time).

The OG San Jose Chuck E. Cheese's still has an animatronic Chuck, skater mouse, and a mix of both ticket and e-play games. They still have a ticket muncher. It used to have a whole set of animatronics with all the main characters, except for the cat. It also (and disturbingly) had clapping taxidermy limbs that would animate during the show. It also had bunch of carnival-style games when I was a kid. All but the Bowler Rowler are gone now.
Actually derby head truck actually changed and Chuckie stop smoking in 1983 I mean 1980 and the next iteration of Chucky was tuxedo Chucky is the same thing as derby head Chucky but Shaquille is wearing a fancy tuxedo and then the next version is and by the way he’s not called skill Chuckies his name is called Chuck the next version is similar to cool truck the recent version of Chuck E. Cheese’s called rockstar truck
The 1 I used to go out is Gone forever but did you know that they are making a new 1 called5 nights at Freddy's pizzeria It's like the game Even if you don't know ITIT's Crazy butt The animal electronics are still out there and I would watching movie other youtubers Go spend a night At chuck E. cheese as It's was terrified and they can moving!

I definitely think Chuck E. Cheese has a place, despite it being a pretty "meh" arcade. While it won't match up to Dave & Buster's, I don't think it needs to. Chuck E. Cheese is, first and foremost, a company targeted towards younger children. Dave & Buster's target audience is mostly adults and older kids. Because of this, Chuck E. Cheese will likely continue to do well. It doesn't really come across similar issues as Toys R Us because, well, it isn't really in direct competition to the internet.

Cec stoped making tokens in like 2016 so that’s impossible
