Tilder Moyo-Karizamimba is a Zimbabwean radio personality who is well known for tackling sensitive social issues. She made a name for herself at Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC)'s Radio Zimbabwe where she hosted a no-holds barred Sunday morning talk show which touched on various social issues. Some of the controversial issues that the programme has dealt with include those of satanists, child prostitutes, victims of rape and business people who use juju to enrich themselves. It was a phone-in programme and many a times perpetrators and victims called in airing their views and experiences making it worthwhile for the audiences to tune in. She also presenter of the Popular Tv Music Programme Ezomgido/Mvenge-mvenge on ZBCTV Before she left zbc for greener Pasture

Especially when he talked about the footprints the first time. Tilda sort of cut him off as if they were irrelevant but later on the significance of the footprints came to light. If this guy had had the opportunity to go to a good school with a full stomach everyday, he would have become anything he wanted. As you said, there's a chance he's very intelligent.

Tilda, you are a good journalist, I like listening to your stories but my only advice is that you seem to rush your guests a lot and you tend to finish sentences for them. I even said the same thing previously. In reality what she is doing needs a well trained professionals like a Social Worker or Pychologist. I don’t know her education background, but she lacks basic clinical skills. I also advise her to enrol such professionals to follow up with these people after such interviews, because retelling such events can re-traumatize these inviduals.
Tilda’s idea is good but it’s more than just feeling pitty for the offenders. The main aim should be to rehabilitate these inmates.
How can Tete Tilda laugh at him using shoe prints to track his wife. We used to track cows and our cousins using the same technique😂🤷♂️

These types of interviews should be done by clinical professionals such as social workers or psychologists. I don’t know Tildas’ s education background but she lacks basic clinical skills. She needs to enrol trained people or else she can herself take clinical or individual counselling courses. These courses will equip her for such interviews. One of the most critical clinical skills is LISTENING. When you ask someone a question you give them the platform to speak without interrupting them or changing the meaning of their story.
Your main role will be to listen, empathize and validate their narrations.
It may sound basic, but it’s evident in this interview that she has no skills. She sound more like an investigative person. The main objective for such interviews should be to rehabilitate (restoring HOPE) because most of the inmates have lost hope due to the nature of their crimes and marginalization. As you are aware many of the developed countries no longer call these institutions jails/prison rather correctional facilities.
