Why do some many vehicles leave off the flexplate/torque convertor cover?
57 chevy belaire! What a beautiful running project car. It'll sell quickly. Seatbelts were an option in 57 and if your car was not optioned with them it is exempt from having them. My brother went through this with his 62 Impala he has a seatbelt exempt certification in his car.
My dad bought a 57 in the early 60's from Tennyson Chevrolet in Livonia michigan, had the seat belts put in at SEARS.
You all know that she is a Diamond in the ruff and at 67 yr's of age she has held up well, just like me a few yr;s older and her body is in very good shape . For she has been though the test of time and still lovely as she came off the show room floor . At hour age, nice price, nice car. For she needs to be look at a different manner of life.

How do so many hot rod builders get it wrong? You don't put your money into the engine and interior, you put it into the body/structure of the car first; that way you have something that's actually worth putting a nice engine and interior into when you're done
I was always told to do the bodywork last so you don’t have to be so careful and when you have to remove body panels you don’t have to worry about damaging them. But hey both ways work and neither way is wrong

Was probably built 25 years ago the basis is all there needs alot of updates can cruise it now work on a little bit at a time

For that price you could spend about 5 thousand more and have a really nice car. I mean it's already nice but 5 thousand more dollars would put it over the top

I'm sorry y'all but the people who complain about the price honestly don't know very much about cars. This has things that need fixing, but they're small little things. The body is solid and it's a running, driving car! You can enjoy it while you work on it. This car doesn't need very much to be a great car! This price is very reasonable!
it does run and drive and looks great from 20 foot.I certainly would not say the body is solid,did you see the rust? With that rust on the bottom side of the door I would almost guarantee the body mount/brackets/floor pan are rusted.Coming from someone who has cut out and repaired a lot of rust.

Rust & bondo bubbling all along the bottom. It's far from solid. A solid 57 with everything working in good condition will cost twice what he's asking!

56 are my favorite 55 are nice as well but i can’t stand the rear wheel cutouts and the 57 just don’t look right when you lift the front end and remove the bumper. Every 57 gasser just don’t look right. But i like all three just 56 is my favorite
