We threw everything we had at em, screaming out of excitement in our discord call, about 300 bullets later they were dead, and that song was playing. It’s now very nostalgic to me
That's the song when I'm the slayer, not the zombies. I go down if they bring a thousand at me at the same time, because I refuse to go down so long as I can stand. Bonus points if I was already bitten.
was playing a sprinters run, hadn't separated from my partner in crime for the entire run, but we had finally set up camp at the logging company so we were comfortable enough to do solo loot runs. On the FIRST run, he crashes his car into a tree and gets swarmed outside the logging co. He's screaming over discord that he's not bit yet but theyre all around him and he's dead meat. I jumped in a truck as fast as I could and went 100mph straight to him, ended up way overshooting it and flying right past him. Our cars nearly went head on into each other, it was a pixel difference. Flew straight over half the zombies attacking him, flattening them immediately, and he was able to escape. It was the closest shit ever, we could have both been dead if I'd hit him

Maybe We Can Win This really makes me think of when me and friends were in a huge bind. We had rushed to the aid of one friend who had said he got into a bit of a situation (his car had stalled out and wouldn't turn back on while on the highway and a horde was closing in). As we reached there, shit hit the fan. And the thought process was that of just.. "I won't let this end how this is." I had forgot to take out enough shotgun shells from my truck, and I had used all my magazines. The friend we rushed to was dead. He had gotten swarmed, but we were barely too late. And the other had taken a bite and barely avoided fully getting mauled, but I had stunned them for enough he could move, and then I took the attention. He saw me slowly walking the horde away and took the chance to rest and load his gun. And then I died to a fever I got from my character getting two scratches while foraging through the woods, and then auto-eating poisonous mushrooms while I limped back (groin wound) to get a bandage from the house. (I take anemic and self destructive so I was at half health due to depression and, well, anemic + not having two bandages = bleeding = low health). I went out and spent my shells on killing West Point's population, I ran out of shells so I decided to go on a looting run to LV, I made an outpost southeast of the city and went on a looting run. It went well: I looted every gunstore in the city and I already had enough shells to clear West Point, but I wanted more. So I went to the mall gun store and initially tried being sneaky but more and more of them poured in and I couldnt keep up, so I left. I knew I had limited time because my outpost had no generator and no water collectors so I had to hurry up, it took me around 5 days to get to the gun store, I couldnt loot it yet because it was getting late so I left. Next day I came back and my car's condition was becoming very bad because of the zeds on the road so I decided to kill em(melee, of course) but one slight concentration gap and I got lacerated in my hand so i couldnt go melee, I didnt stock up on ammo so I had around 100 shells. I shot hoping there wouldnt be much but I was soon overrun. I tried running away but my car gave up on me, I shot myself as they tried to break in the car.
i remember i got bugged riding a car, and another car appeared below me. i was surrounded by zombies and my friend was killing them. the car got WRECKED. i got out not a single bit of damage done, i went to get food and i got bit in the neck by a zombie in a dark bathroom

In the end i got a pkm from the mall and quickly snatched away, not returning ever again
The beste thing is that this themes always play when in the right time, Most of the game, when you are looting a house, you are in the middle of the forest, when there is nothing happening, They never play itself, It knows when to play in the exact and perfect time, They are not that intense like to Doom level but they are good enough and fit so well with the atmosphere that the game wants to give you, "Death" is exactly what it is a defeat song, "The horde" is basically a warning of the game saying you "If you get detected, you are dead", "maybe we can win this" give that feeling of hope, when you are sorrounded and you find a last magazine for your pistol or you start fighting back the horde that is following you, Its just a perfect soundtrack that fits every moment it appears.
"maybe we can win this" is when you're done being scared... Or saving somebody in multiplayer with convoluted plan that does not work out exactly at the worst moment but you still survive.
I bet that track will play when my brother and I decide to give Louisville a visit, and we get surrounded and trapped on a rooftop.

Like love how 90% of the ost is just some guy going hard on a banjo
Overrun clip is way too accurate
The beste thing is that this themes always play when in the right time, Most of the game, when you are looting a house, you are in the middle of the forest, when there is nothing happening, They never play itself, It knows when to play in the exact and perfect time, They are not that intense like to Doom level but they are good enough and fit so well with the atmosphere that the game wants to give you, "Death" is exactly what it is a defeat song, "The horde" is basically a warning of the game saying you "If you get detected, you are dead", "maybe we can win this" give that feeling of hope, when you are sorrounded and you find a last magazine for your pistol or you start fighting back the horde that is following you, Its just a perfect soundtrack that fits every moment it appears.
well pure silence with your own thoughts make this game ominous
i dont think determination is talked about enough
Why does "Maybe we can win this" sync with the video
I... I u-used cheat menu to heal my bite wound, I'm scared and ashamed
Bruh why the soundtracks need to go this hard and be this good
I remember watching that garfield episode with my classmate, it scared the shitta outta us
