It really has been a long, fun journey, hasn't it? You and I have been following/watching these updates since the start of demolition, have we not? :-)
Thanks for this video. Being an engineer I love seeing the inner workings of things. On our visit my wife and I were fortunate enough to get in with boarding group #108. On our second attempt we got group 87 but the ride had a major glitch midday. So no second ride. We were so happy we got on the car facing the front of the AT-AT. Such an amazing ride!! And both of us very happy we got to see you. Thanks again, Mr Red Scooter. 😉
Besides the construction videos, this was one of the top that I was curious on. Thank you David for making this video put rise of the resistance into perspective.
The only thing missing is the ending with the paddle wheel on the Mark twain. I fell in love with your sign off on the Mark Twain. Rain or shine. Thank you for all your work.
It is so crazy to see the development of *ROTR* from its beginnings to present day. It boggles my mind to know that all the landscaping, foliage, mountains (spires), and etc. hide such an amazing and technical wonder that is *Rise of the Resistance.* As Yensid55 would say, *'I can not wait to see what they build next,* #FreshBaked
I will admit - when I saw the title I was disappointed feeling I wanted a topic away from Galaxy’s Edge. I watched anyway ... and am glad I did. This is a *really* fun and informative video. Thank you for the time it took to put all this footage together. Excellent video! Very nicely done.
Very cool to see how it all fits together. They did such an incredible job fitting so much ride into that space. It’s not tiny, but with the simulations and all when you’re in the ride it feels like you’re coveting do much more distance! Thanks for the BTS look!
Thanks for making this video! You read my mind, I was in the park yesterday and got to ride Rise again and thought man it would be amazing if David makes an overlay/comparison video from all his years of construction videos to the completed ride so we can get a feel for what those things we stared at for years actually turned into!
Beautiful! What a trip down memory lane. Thanks so much for helping connect the dots of what we saw in the construction updates and to the finished product.
You are dead right when you said "You know you're enjoying this". YES I AM. I don't know when I'll ever be able to get to Disneyland from Texas so I live vicariously through Fresh Baked, Justin, and a few others. I can't wait to experience ROTR in person because I know what I've seen needs to be experienced.
I subscribed around august or september 2015. I remember the excitement leading up to day one of construction. I remember the car wash backstage and the cast members washing a truck or something. And the countless updates over the years of watching Mt. Spielberg, the swimming pool, etc. What a journey it's been!
Awesome video! This is great to go through all the construction videos and put it all together for us. Thanks David, that had to be a lot of work. I really enjoyed this!
Thanks for your constant dedication to this project and to us viewers. Keep doing what you’re doing. You and the Fresh Baked gang are truly appreciated. Aloha!
Thanks for this, Dave......I love this kind of stuff, every once in a while....and, oh, the memories.....all the way back to "the pool" and "the Jacuzzis"......you even mentioned Mt. Spielberg!
The memories, the memories.:) How I loved watching all of those construction updates over the years. It was wonderful watching Galaxies Edge RISE on FreshBaked.
19:58 - you can see the charging points (4 times) in front of the middle crane. And over it is the exite of the ride, where we get out after we "landed".
Wow thx 4 creating this video definitely put you in perspective as where you r in the ride and galaxy's edge thunderchicken David keeping all the muffins entertained 👍👍👍
Any idea if there is one or two transport vehicles in the “supercollider”? Seems like two would be much more efficient since you could just rotate the turntable 180 degrees and be loading and unloading simultaneously.
the one thing i'll always remember from the construction reports was seeing the walkers' skeletons for the first time. they were the first props that were recognizable as being from star wars. do you happen to know where in the land is ian's name written? is it just somewhere in the rock work or some place significant to one of the rides?
FreshBaked, David this new attraction owes so much to Pirates on how to set up an E- ticket ride. When you first step out onto the Hanger scene ( some of the Storm Troopers could show a bit more movement ) is the same scene as on pirates the fight scene between ship and fortress. At the end of pirates you go up a waterfall on Rise you drop down. How many Transport "cabin's" are on the collider turntable? Nice work. Cheers, Chris Perry.
Are you a mind reader David?! I was literally going through your construction videos earlier this week and trying to plot “landmarks” on google maps hahaha thank you for making this video!
I thought that what you were calling “a pool” was where they have the water for the water fountains cause in Florida they have water fountains in the queue like I thought they just that water they until they got to it
Thank you for that David the was nolstogic.I used to wait for these updates each week.I'm sorry the Avenger thing doesn't do anything for me I'm more DC fan
Hi everyone, if I have a boarding pass for 68, when can I expect to be called? Also, I don’t see on the app which boarding passes are being called. I’m going to meet a friend for lunch and I figure I still would have time to get back to the park.
Errors in Rise: -Poe’s X-wing shouldn’t be there. It blew up in TLJ. -Kylo hasn’t rebuild his mask yet. -what happened to Nein Numb? -why didn’t those resistance fighters join us in the prisoner transport?
I just wanted to thank you guys for these videos. My husband just passed away and your videos brighten my day just a little😃
I work the 3rd shift in Rise & everything you mentioned here is spot on.. Good eye!
You deserve an oscar for this video. Thank you for your hard work.
calm down
Everything makes sooooo much sense now. It’s been such a long fun journey.
✌🏼✌🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Swimming pool…pffff…what were we thinking. 😜😜
It really has been a long, fun journey, hasn't it? You and I have been following/watching these updates since the start of demolition, have we not? :-)
Great video tying together all of your great work documenting this stunning attraction! Thanks for putting so much time into it.
Such a great video! Thanks for doing this. So interesting!
I'll never forget the sight of those AT-ATs the first time. What a moment!
This was fun to watch!

You documented the whole build process so well that now you were able to make sense of it for all of us! 👏👏👏
Great video! Hands down the most amazing ride ever made.
The only thing missing is the ending with the paddle wheel on the Mark twain. I fell in love with your sign off on the Mark Twain. Rain or shine. Thank you for all your work.
I just discovered this video literally today but it's so well done. Thanks for your great work on this and in general. 👍
Awesome perspective, David. An amazing journey. FRESH BAKED!!
Thank you Robert!
I'm so glad you captured all that detail during construction. I enjoyed watching it then, but it was even more satisfying in this pass.

I loved this! Thank you FreshBaked. I waited until I rode it before I watched it and I'm glad I did it was well worth the wait
These are the days of miracle and wonder!
Beautiful! What a trip down memory lane. Thanks so much for helping connect the dots of what we saw in the construction updates and to the finished product.
Nicely done David!

I am sooooo happy you did this, I was going back and watching all the past construction videos. This is so cool
I was watching all of your construction videos the other day and now it's all in one video 😎
David, this is amazing..!

For a bit more reference. @5:35.
What look like a dug our square is the base of the waterfall.
Hello Fresh Baked!
I still can’t grok that what I experienced in that attraction fits in that building. Mind blowing achievement by imagineering

do you happen to know where in the land is ian's name written? is it just somewhere in the rock work or some place significant to one of the rides?
I finally rode the ride! I cried when I got out! Goosrbumps!🥰
Just got on it for the first time and it’s amazing
Could we get a thoughts and reactions video from you and Ian in a bit once more people have had a chance to ride? I’d be curious to hear them :)
The hanger is the equivalent of the portrait hallway in Mansion. 😜😜

I really want to know how they do Kylo’s lightsaber cutting through the ceiling!
Have you taken your 360 camera on Rise?
Thank you for that David the was nolstogic.I used to wait for these updates each week.I'm sorry the Avenger thing doesn't do anything for me I'm more DC fan
